Went to gamestop yesterday and when I mentioned that I had a ps3 the guy gave me the DVD for free.
Been trying to register on the Konami site but it keeps giving me a “page deleted” and “server is busy” whenever I get to the rules page. I’ll keep trying.

Is your code 9 or 12 digits? If it’s 9, you need a new code. If it’s 12, the letters need to be cap.

You need to email http://www.konami-data.com/support/, include your current code in the email. They should hit you up with a new 12 digit one. They are also apparently resolving this issue via phone.

I must have seen that about 200 times. I cant even get past the first page anymore. I was so close to registering last night. If it werent for their retarded password and lower case criteria making me redo things, then I could have already been relaxing while I patiently wait for monday. I’m thankful that this is the only thing thats gotten in my way. They better fix their site. I feel bad for the people with fucked up beta codes. The update took me about 2 hours and I know people who probably wont be able to play because of that. The site wasnt even working right until last night and now I’m getting random errors. I’ve heard some other people’s horror stories and all I gotta say is Konami is fuckin up BIG TIME.
I downloaded mine yesterday with no problem. The only problem I have is when I start the game it says I need to download an update for the beta I only got it to 9 percent… am I the only one with is problem?
You just gotta be patient and it’ll probably pick up. Should take a couple of hours. Just leave it on and do something else until it finishes.
I left it on overnight while I slept. Was done when I woke up using the Torrent method.
Update For the people who are having issues getting Konami ID’s.
you MUST be kidding. I for one am not jumping through 10,000 hoops of that bullshit as much as I want to play. I’ll try one more time monday and if that gives me an error message, I’m giving up.
LoL 10,000 hoops? I’ve been trying to get an ID for 2 days now. Did exactly what this told me, got my ID within 10 minutes.
I’m not doing it as a matter of principle. They’re cutting down the user base by over ten fold with this nonsense. I’m still not even clear what the difference is between the GAME ID and the KONAMI ID. that site is so filled with poor explanations and engrish I just won’t tolerate it. Hell, I still dont even know if our PSN IDs will even show up in game, let alone the ability to play with friends on my psn friends list. if you’re willing to put up with that, have fun.

If you couldnt register before. now is the time to do it. It was annoying as hell trying the past few days, but I got it done a few hours ago. Didnt get the confirmation email at first, so I had it sent again just now and to my suprise it was in my email instantly. I check out the site and everything is running smooth.

make sure the download limit size option is turned off (found this info on the playstation forum), i did this friday night and downloaded the update in 2 hours.
if you want to take a break downloading you can (be sure to use the p2p option and not the http), you’ll start right back where you left off.

I was reading all the stuff from the online manual on the beta and got goosebumps. This game sounds amazing and deep. Does anybody know when the exact launch is gonna happen? I cant wait.
