Damn! I’m so bummed out right now. Hopefully it isnt delayed for too long and we get some extra time with it. At least now they partially know what to expect when the biggest game on the PS3 actually does come out. Konami needs to get their act together. Hope they learned something from all of this.
Bummer. Joystiq says the beta end date will be extended to May 11 though.
As long as they work out all the bugs before the full game launches

Well at least my friends plan for all night MGO Friday might still go down. I guess I don’t have a right to whine or complain seeing this is a free service, and really isn’t that serious in the long run. Not gona lie though, I’m super bummed too. I’m all about CoD4, but the tactical style of this (and the general MGS flair of it all) really, really appealed to me. Can’t wait to try out this beast.
Theres another patch you have to get. Thankfully it’s really small and it’s purpose is to help connect to the servers. It shouldnt take any longer than 5 minutes for this one. less than 24 hours to go!
I have the ps3 vid cam with the built in mic. Will that work? I know the its hard to hear people because the voice is mixed with the game music.

Me and two portugese dudes just WENT OFF on the opposing team. Captured a base, then took 2 more just moving together. In a small lil factory two dudes pinned an enemy down, and he was hiding behind a lil ledge.
Only visible part was his feet. I went through a little tunnel, killed him by shooting his feet.

Sometimes though the animation is real fast so you barely know if you covered and set up to peek around corners.
This could be just a mattere of getting used to it though.
