Havoc, I don’t see the point of you continuing to argue and spam this thread.
Contrary to what you might think, you’re not telling the “SNK community” anything it doesn’t already know. Furthermore, most people who play SNK games aren’t exclusive to just SNK unlike the Capcom community is unto Capcom…so the players are fully aware of how they are perceived by Capcom fanboys. If you think the games are so easy and that you could beat the Triad, DG, or whoever in games they actually play then DO IT, otherwise stop talking.
We don’t need you making about 100 posts especially when you’ve never played DG or any of us in these. Making judgements about people solely on internet posts is pure small-mindedness.
We might be unorganized right now, but unorganized is better than non-existant. Plus, things are way more streamlined than a year ago. People forget the US SNK community had to built out of NOTHING. Therefore, I don’t see realistically how you could compare the SNK scene to any Capcom game’s scene.
Finally someone that sees what I see. Godlike post…I’d rep you if I could… You hit everything I been saying on the dot!!! I got nothing else to add but the fact that look Capcom took a while to get where they are today as far as the scene…what you have is 15 years of Street Fighter tournament level play almost (give or take) compared to TWO (Hell really ONE) years of SNK tournament play? C’mon man you cant be serious…no comparison.

Havoc, I just wanted to say that I appreciate your efforts, even if some others don’t. A lot of cats around here seem to be into that self-help, positive-thinking bullshit, but I realize that doesn’t actually work, and understand that any growing cause NEEDS people like you. So, however meaningless this may be, thank you.
The thing is, right now Dark Geese is the only one with the money to pull this off nationally. I can drive to EC and Midwest majors, and save for Evo World, but anything else out west is not doable for me. I also am not experienced in leadership roles and have no idea of what exactly that would entail, though I certainly would like to learn!
Perhaps I could run WHP myself at every major I attend, separate from Geese? That would be a start of sorts…
Guys this is what I like to hear… :lovin: The more people that run tournaments the less chance I have of losing my voice :lol: and the more that gets done…
Can I offer a suggestion though? If you are gonna run these tournaments please bring something to record the matches with…I can only fit soo much in my suitcases…

Yeah my suitcase goes through ALOT…imagine how much I travel with it…plus I gotta pack it up so things dont get damaged…PLUS going through security checkpoint at airports havign to unload and reload things again (Keits knows what I am talking about )
