Yeah, we play and, most importantly, TEACH over P2P Kaillera. You will need a ps2 to usb converter for your stick, and make sure you get one of the lagless ones. See the techtalk forums for help on that. Hit me up on AIM for the rest.

The reason I dont like U.S. gamers mostly cause there very narrow minded, and still think things are cheap in fighting games. Its just the way our culture is, we think everything has to be fair.

WH:P is good for a laugh, but man for real? Trying to start and SNK scene with THAT as one of the games? I’m starting to laugh while typing this. I do like the football players(MAX?) command throw that does 4 heavy hits but takes away like 1.298989389% health:rofl: Same with Muscle Power’s multi throws which have hits but do about the same damage:rofl:

It’s fun to play every once in a while (played it like 4 times), but I don’t know baout putting that up front in the beginning my self when you have more stylish games like XI,Garou,2k2,Rb2,etc.
Brocken is close to the bottom, but in WHP, that doesnt mean much. He can win, for sure.
Not sure which game you were playing, but this couldnt be less accurate. Everything in that game hits hard, like super turbo. Max’s command throw does as much as his hard punch, and most importantly, puts your opponent in the corner guarenteed. Muscle power’s super throw is one of the strongest moves in the game, the hero version doing close yo 70% damage.
Being that its clear that you havent really played it, ill dismiss the rest of what you were attempting to say. Besides, we are not trying to ‘start an snk scene’ with WHP. Dark geese has nothing to do with it, even. FunkDoc and I are trying to start a WHP scene with WHP. Why? Because its one of the most balanced, fun, and exciting games ive played in a decade.
You are, of course, free to dislike it. But dont come in here with your fake talk about 1.2% damage without even bothering to check one of the hundreds of youtube videos that would prove you wrong.

No, it finally got over here after the PS3 came out and Sony of America stopped giving a shit about what was released for PS2 over here.
I’d have to say I agree with a lot of Keits reasoning for what games should be pushed, even if I disagree with him about whether or not the games are good games.
You keep KoF98 as the “classic” of the bunch, push whatever is the latest 2D KoF game, and you can add whatever other game beyond that, that seems to draw good numbers. I’m not competent enough in any other SNK game to make any eloquent arguments about which other ones are tournament worthy, so I figure finding whatever the most people like to play is good.
Push new games not by making tournaments but promoting casuals for them.
I’m right now trying to learn some more about certain games to come play at Final Round, I’ll probably get destroyed due to lack of comp, but still I’m not necessarily someone on the outside looking in, I’m one of those people trying to get into the scene!
Off-topic: Once I get my net hooked up in my new apartment, I need some KoF98 p2p/ggpo ness.
