- it’s a cool character design, I’m really digging it.
- from a gameplay standpoint, she looks really unique.
- the trailer drops 2 days before she releases.
- her character model looks good and I can’t see any issues with her face.

It’s Sunday, they likely just sent them the trailer before the weekend for the reveal.
You won’t have to wait too long, it seems. Artwork has already started to pour out:

99% of people will drop her in a few days. She looks much more complex than most characters.
And on top of that she looks slow and will probably have no reversal.
Characters can be popular and not get used a lot. Chun is a good example

Sometimes it’s not about the size. Sometimes it just smells and tastes good.
She will probably have the Ibuki effect: a very technical character so a lot of people will write her off as trash and drop her after a week, until a talented technical player like Xian picks her up and shows everyone all her sick setups that they can all copy and then shoot up straight to Plat, knowing nothing else outside of her VT setups.

Depends on the character. Poongko put Kolin on the map but she still aint that good of a character (or popular).
Not to disparage Poongko, but I don’t think his Kolin is on the same level as what Xian did for Ibuki.
Do we know whether her moves are motions or charge?
For the way she’s built she’s unlikely to be a charge character.
