Melty Blood ReACT

Yeah I do have the game. Could you help me installing it if I bring it?

And the SNK tourney… lol the tournament organizers themselves don’t even know. I think it’s on the first day, and it’s gonna be at the lounge. Enter it! You have a guarantee not to be in the last place(cuz I’m in it  )

Awesome linalys. I’ll have to bust my ass to perfect that now. Thanks alot.

P.S.

You’ve GOT to hook me up with the full picture that’s in your avatar.

YES I got a PS2/USB adaptor! Now my wrists won’t die from practicing. So, anyone got combos for MechHisui yet? I haven’t had a ton of time so I haven’ tdone much yet, but if anyone’s got something share please

there aren’t any demos (or places I can ahem download haha) that I can find on the net to try this thing??

MHisui is weird kinda like Robo Ky weird actually…

Her combos involving chaining into 6+C, or just 2+C, C. So 2+A, 2+B, 2+C/5+C, 6+C , air combo would be her B&B I guess.

Fun things to mess with would be her EX Barrier and EX Lightning. All her EX moves have significant stun but these two actually can be comboed after. EX Barrier will let you do another EX move or launch the opponent. EX Lightning leaves them on the ground long enough for a one hit OTG. If close enough EX barrier will pick up off the ground, or you can combo into Hisui Parade

If the replay doesn’t work right, blame the randomness of the super. Should be a 55 hit combo.

Yeah I was noticing how weird she was, but I like the stuff she has, spamming TK’d (air)214A/B/C’s in heat mode is fun, or half life in the corner with heat: 22C, 22C, 22C, 22C, 22B hahaha

Alot of her Air attacks seem good actually, 2C, 214A/B/C, her dash is good too.

actually, I’m starting to think her airdash sucks shit

Just noticed my last post didn’t have the attachment. Here’s a geocities link. It’s more amusement value than for damage.

Yeah MHisui’s air dash is bad and ground dash is slow to start. But she’s not a rusher so it doesn’t matter.

There is a demo available but the game has changed so much that is not worth it much.

As of downloading, you know the rules, and that has been dealt with in this thread already. No download requests.

Character matchup table update: Warcueid 6:4 Satsuki. Can’t understand the reason for it.

Why not? Warc is better than Satsuki. Warc is better than most of the cast, if she had a normal jump she’d be awesome.

On other fronts, anyone else besides lovely kitsune and FatalFuryD going to be at Evo? I’d love to play some ReAct or MB against people. It was a blast at AX and I’m looking forward to more of it. I have a laptop and a ps2-usb adapter with both ReAct and MB installed. I’m just trying to decide which day to get time off of work to go on. Are all the ReAct players going on Fri or Sat or what?

I’m a Marvel scrub so I’ll be there all three days to particiapte in and watch (mostly watch) the festivities.

What I meant is that I couldn’t understand the comment after reading a translation  In the case of Warc/Nero, it was mentioned that Warc can keep Nero away easily (and kalciane’s post in Beast’s Lair was more explicit).

Now, at a gameplay level, I don’t really know why since I don’t use Warc, but I think Warc beats Satsuki for a similar reason as Nero. Satsuki’s main game is in the ground, and Warc’s circles cover that. In the air game, Satsuki’s best chance is j. charge C, but Warc got decent anti airs.

Oh, and lynalis, let me know how good Kitsune is, especially in EFZ.

Doh! Now I have to actually practice.

Warc is the evil lookin’ arc, right? If so, then, her better odds probably have to do with her teleport mixups/escapes, a la slayer in GGXX. Example: Satsuki quickjumps at Warc, warc uses the short teleport to get behind, and activate the uppercut super, forcing satsuki to block, if not, take damage. If blocked, warc can once again teleport, and go for a throw, or, teleport again to bait a move, and use her throw super. Advantage Warc all around.

VManofMana: You’re pretty much dead on as far as I see it. Satsuki loses to Warc because she can’t rush Warc outta the blue. She needs some mistake on Warc’s part.

Lovely Kitsune: Ignore VMan, don’t practice EFZ, practice ReAct. I don’t even play EFZ. :stuck_out_tongue:

awww…

come to the Eternal side of the force, linalys.

VManofMana: Help me install my EFZ and maybe I’ll play it. :stuck_out_tongue: I think I install everything from EFZ to EFZ BadMoon 3.10 but whenever I play I get a million error messages right before a match starts.

Arc’s Corner loop.

Do Arc’s 22+A/B uppercut and the 66+C follow up. If you’re close enough you can continue juggling with an air combo or do it up to three times. This is what I do.

A Uppercut, 66+C, A Uppercut, 66+C, Jump A,B,C, dj, B 2 hits, C, B Uppercut, B Followup, EX Uppercut.

Does ~7k damage and is probably Arc’s easiest high damage combo. I would think it wouldn’t be too hard to get off in a match either.

  1. Try to put your language settings to Japanese before installing.

What I do to install EFZ is the following:

  1. Install EFZ
  2. Run EFZ to make sure it works
  3. Install EFZ 1.20 patch
  4. Run EFZ to make sure it works
  5. Make a copy of EFZ (ranamed to BSE)
  6. Install BSE on the new folder
  7. Run BSE to make sure it works
  8. Install BSE 2.13 patch
  9. Run BSE to make sure it works
  10. Make a copy of BSE (renamed to BME)
  11. Install BME on the new folder
  12. Run BME to make sure it works
  13. Install BME 3.10 patch
  14. Run BME to make sure it works

I do this for several reasons:

  1. I got a backup in case something screws up.
  2. I get to have all versions of the game available

For a “crash course”, play vs. the CPU on very hard. The EFZ AI is pretty good, and you can learn a thing or two from it. For combos, check the page with the character matchup tables. If you click on a name, you can see the character discussion, which include a lot of combo replays.
