New vids up at Yukinose’s site —>Painful
I am trying to make the jump > 2B > 623C > OTG combo from Yukinoze’s video with Arcueid, but 623C always finishes with an upward slash. Anyone knows how to prevent this or is it from a previous version?
Anyways, character matchups for ReACT are starting to appear:
So far Miyako and Nanaya have 7-3 on Nero, and Warceid has 6-4 on Nero. No changes with other characters yet. If you want to know who is who, play ReACT in windowed mode. Both the Japanese and English version of the names appear in the select screen.
You can low-shield to interrupt the move before it’s finished. This is confirmed as working as of 2.004.
EDIT: This makes me wonder if there are other pseudo-roman cancels in the game. I’ve tested some with Ren, Nrvnqsr, and Akiha, but I haven’t found any, so I think this is just yet another one of Arcueid’s peculiarities for now (that and her 66 after blockstun move, and her overall character gravity and getting-up framerate).
Darn. The combo doesn’t take much time to get used to the timing. And the mixup is actually quite fast. About 4500 damage for low air 2B > 623C > shield > 2B > A > jump > A > B > C > double jump > A > B > C > 623B > 66C
Can you gents help me out with Miyako (the little fast girl)? I want to know how to do that ten hit ground combo that was in one of Yukinose’s match vids not too long ago, along with whatever B&B she might have really.
Also, how do you guys launch with her? I sweep and then do s.C, then continue from there. I do two sets of A, B, C and then 623+K super, or whatever it is. Are there better ways? Am I totally off? Help me out here experts.
Miyako’s natural launcher is 6C, but it is too slow.
What I do to launch is 2C > 2B. This sets her up easily for j. A > B > C > double jump > A > B > C > 623C
B & B: jump in > A > B > C > 6B > 2C > 2B > air combo.
Get the attached file. Change the extension from .txt to .RPD, and put the file in the replay folder of Melty Blood ReACT. In training mode, press F5, select replay, and choose which replay you want.
Replay is for version 2.004
(2 = down; 6 = forward)
Is there any American stores I can buy this game from? Is there at least a demo available? Thanks
There aren’t any american stores you can get this in, unless you find a japanese import store or something like in Little Tokyo in L.A.
I know there is a demo but I don’t know where, someone in this thread should know though, so just wait a bit

midgarmateria: since Melty Blood is a doujinshi game and not an official release, you won’t find it in a regular import shop. Look for my long post in page 5 of this thread to see two different ways you can get it. If you go for the Himeya option, Melty Blood (as well as EFZ) is in the doujin section.
I got my Melty Blood about a year ago from Himeya, and preordered ReACT using Akibado.
Stupid question, how do I order from Himeya. I go to Melty Blood I dont see any add to cart or buy now.
The order button is not in the page describing the product, but in the listing of all the doujin games they got.
The doujing listing is at the very end of the adult section in the menu (don’t worry, Melty Blood and EFZ are not adult games).
Unless you don’t have any meter (very rare since you should save it for a combo) you always want to launch with the akira kick super or near the wall use armor punch super and then C,cr.B into launch. You can always do 8200-9000 damage off a standing B that way. 9800 if you are at the right distance for two armor supers.

That combo in the Yukinose video was throw, B,C,6+B,2+C,2+B, jump, B,C, dj,B,C, Renkantai (623+B).
My B&B is A,B,C,6+B,2+C,2+B, jump, A,B,C,djB,C, airdash, throw. Does close to 5k damage (at default damage lvl 3) and builds a ton of bar.
The best way to launch outside of corner and deep in the corner without bar is 2+C,2+B, with bar it’s the EX Renkantai. Next to corner the best is the EX Doukan. If spaced correctly you can do EX Doukan, C, 6+C which makes the air combo afterwards easier. Otherwise just do 2+B like shoryukenH2 said.
