Yeah it’s a shame there is so much immaturity around here. I know most of these people wouldn’t be talking the same way towards their mother girlfriend, wife, or child if they’re fortunate enough to have any of those.
To be on topic here. I think because of the simplicity of the moves in Smash bros makes it the simpler fighting game. The stages may be more complex as they are more involved, but I believe as a relatively whole that Street Fighter is the more strategy involved game because of it’s moves and the timing required by some characters, almost no two characters play exactly. There are just a few in IV though.

smash does things better than street fighter(as shown by sales figures) so it’s the better game.
even with all of the technical nuances of brawl its still just a party game, the only possible arguement to be made here is that brawls stages are more technical because there not just a flat 2d floor, but even then its still a joke of an arguement.
little kids can play brawl to a competent level by having a dog chew on the controller. the game is overly random with game changing items randomly falling around the levels, also from what i can tell the game is terribly balanced ( and im deducing this from a very casual setting )
certain characters just suck, like ganandorf, hes slow as hell and if you miss a move your in deep shit. then certain characters are insanely good, like meta knight who can press b repeatedly for profit and chase you off the stage ftw every time you get knocked off
btw i love playing brawl, its fun and random and is a great waste of time with my friends who suck at real games. so im not biased in my opinion here.

The only games I play at a tournament level are fighting games. Smash, didn’t fall into the category of a fighting game, which why I didn’t play it. Don’t get me wrong, I play the hell out of non fighting games that’s (Fun,decent good games) but smash was never fun or entertaining to me. Sorry, but alot of people don’t like crappy games.
Because they where smoking crack, and they suck at marvel. For example, you would have at least scene known players that used to make mvc2 combovideos, at least contributed a smash video.
Waiting to see how the only guy that made sense of this thread gets torn apart by biased capcom fanboyz.

I wsnt talking to you directly unless you’re guilty of something. But in general a fighting game is a game where you beat the other person/s. I dont see people flying of the stage in smash because they’re having a tea party so its obviously a fighting game, because people…you know…fight. Im not saying anyone has to like smash but at least try to not sound biased when you’re bashing it.
