Megaman X would be amazing but is there enough of an active fan base for an X series to be lucrative? It’d be godlike for those that grew up in the 90s…

I loved Generator Rex, so there is a SMALL chance this might not suck.
Since OnDemand, DVR and YouTube is more prominent than ever there is very little chance of this show failing because of time slot placement.
I’m optimistic. Plus Ben 10 and Rex were good shows. A lot of what happened post-original Ben 10 was out of Men of actions hands. It was Cartoon Network strong arming them hard because demographics and wanting more from The show when it was just supposed to be simple and fun, and really just trying to get as much blood from the stone as they could.
No, Omniverse is still blood on their hands. Alien Force and Ultimate Alien had started to hit a stride, providing good character development, a twinge of seriousness and darkness (but not so much to remove the trademark humor and lightness of the show) and let the characters actually…grow up. MoA got the franchise back and decided “Hey, let’s make everyone act like they’re 10 again basically” and flanderized a ton of characters. Something which makes no sense as MoA knows how to blend seriousness and humor, because Rex was the perfect blend of it. Why they decided to do it to Omniverse is beyond comprehension. I can’t even imagine it was a decision from CN as they obviously had no problem with Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Generator Rex.
You’re thinking of the good CN, @Saitsu… That CN died with Young Justice and Green Lantern.

Heard about this a few days ago. Ehhhhh, I dunno. I’m not the biggest fan of Man of Action. Ultimate Spider-Man was not my bag and that redesign for Ominverse did not help the Ben 10 franchise. I’m gonna take a wait and see approach. In defense of the '90s Mega Man cartoon show, it was hilarious in a so bad it’s good way. I’d actually buy that series on DVD and pop it in for a good laugh.
Speaking of Mega Man, anyone pick up Mega Man #49? Some of Wily’s Robots (Mainly Quick Man) want to be shut off since they can’t be war machines. Roll’s suggestion? Preserve them in a robot museum. Interestingly enough, some of the Robot Master’s mentioned appear in Mega Man 7’s Robot Museum mini stage.
Yeah the Mega Man comic is really good about continuity nods like that.
Its a really great example of what I mean about respecting the source material.
