lol, i play shoto quite well, thank ye. i’m familiar with playing msps and sent-based teams with my shotos and tho i have a tough time landing the win–lol, surprised at how close some of the matches turn out–i don’t usually have a problem at all killing a character or 2. you mention playing sent/cc and ?, if you’re playing sent on point, that would indeed be tough, especially with your capcom. i could bait cc and launch for half-life and get punished by sent, or play it safe on the ground and send out ken’s aa to occupy sent while i punish cc with a messatsu hc for half-life. there are options mahyne! lol should be fun and pretty hype nonetheless. anyway, maybe your best option would seem to take to the air with sent w/ an assist to cover, b/c at close range by himself on the ground, gouki would rape sent, not even talking about ken =)
can’t wait. oh yea, so i guess it stays at $100, n-ken?
yea… i didnt say that as a cut down to you… just at the arcade last night i was playing shoto and winning so i figured id come run my mouth about how gdlk shoto is
bigazn… i got a gift for you, ill swing by the mall around 4 or so and show you… it involves akuma and i think youll like it
Yeah Hooters is right next to it where you can get fried chicken anytime you want for a healthy diet. Tropicana sounds dirty but it’s better than nothing. I wonder if Evo is even being sponsored by anyone this year.
ah, it’s cool man. nothing but love for team shoto.
n-ken, you’re saying a $500 pot or a $1000 pot? we both come up with 250 or 500 each? lol now, this is getting crazy. i mean, ken, ryu, and akuma are cool, but they’re not THAT cool haha i’ll 2nd a $500 pot, but a $1000 is just not right. o_o
unless…we switch it up and do $100/match. then, i’m listening. regardless, the point of this is to build some hype for marvel, but if the audience is not large enough, if the hype pretty much had no effect, i’ll keep to the 100/match. if the turnout is as large as i hope it is, 500/5 matches is well worth it
besides the MM craziness, exist where do you play? i don’t think i’ve met you b4.
All of u talk a good game…and skisonic…u say pete is the only 1 worth playing…then how come u never beat me in tourny??..(lol adding to the drama)…rofl…half the people posting on this shit should just shhhhhhh their shit…ur not even a marvel player…i only respect victor and isaac from our area…only 2 that ever gave me trouble, and im an msp player now…1 touch kill…so bet it???
LOL to the spiral player…if ur name aint DUC you aint playin spiral…thats that???
ERIC V OUT…
I never really had trouble beating you until you came to my house and played that long set and decided that running from me was the best option. But if you’re gonna run away a lot it makes it tough for me.
That being said, I doubt you would beat me with MSP.
ITS DRAMA TIME.
edit: p.s. I think that quote is a typo, I believe I meant to say “beat me in” tourney, but I was trying to make 2 points at once.
p.p.s AND I have absolutely no comp. Why do people keep bringing isaac up? He hasn’t been in this area for years, and when he was, eric v you were no MATCH, not like he was giving you trouble, he was owning you, and so was pete, and I probably split. I think its sort of a cop-out argument to talk about how much games you don’t play anymore, but honestly there is a reason that I didn’t even bother posting in this thread because when I actually was playing I would’ve jumped at the opportunity to teach any noob mvc2 in baltimore. Now I have more fun with Arcana than anything else, and nobody else will touch it, not to mention my converters get stolen at every tourney so I cant even play marvel. Lol. This is lame.
it doesn’t really matter to me the conditions of the game, actually. whether it be mm, tourney, or casual, all in all, it would just be cool to play another competitive marvel player. i rarely get that kinda action. it’s a shame when your friends start telling you they don’t play marvel anymore b/c you’ve been beating them that badly i mean, you want to bring out your full potential, but at the same time, you don’t want to beast on your friend for a perfect with MSP or whoever (when you know that’s how they are, anyway). Well…you DO, but you know what i mean… -_-
i dunno where the difference begins, but whenever i meet a player who can wipe the floor with me, i take up the challenge and dish out some sharp comp, and, if at the end of the day, the situation remains the same, i deem them the better man, and continue playing when i can to try and step my game up. that’s where the sport is.
