SO I TELL U FROM EXPERIENCE, MVC2 REQUIRES ALOT OF EFFORT WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MASTER THE GAME…REACTION…EXECUTION…BLOCKING…AT INCREDIBLE GAME SPEEDS…FOR EXAMPLE, I JUST GOT BACK LAST WEEKEND WIT JWONG FROM AN NC TOURNY…GRAND FINALS WAS BOTH OF US PLAYING MSP…HE MIXED ME UP LIKE WOAH, AND THAT WAS THAT, BUT TAUGHT ME ALOT AT THE SAME TIME…HE PLAYS SO SAFE/SMART IN CVS2, 3RD, ARCANA…SHIT EVERYTHING HE TOUCHES…BUT MARVEL HAS EVOLVED INTO SOMETHING ELSE…ITS CALLED YIPES EXECUTION (MAGNUS)…YIPES USES PERFECT EXECUTION TO CLOSE THE SKILL GAP BETWEEN HIM AND PEOPLE LIKE JUSTIN, SANFORD, ETC (WHO I BELIEVE ARE MORE EXPERIENCED AND SKILLED THAN HIM OVERALL)…THE DIVERSITY IT PROVIDES IS THAT EVEN SOMEONE LIKE JUSTIN WHO HAS BEEN THE MVC2 CHAMP FOREVER CANT WIN ANYMORE…SO WHILE I WATCH EVERYONE (East Coast) LOSE TO JWONG IN ALL OTHER FIGHTING GAMES, IN MVC2 WE HAVE A PLAYER THAT HAS SURPASSED HIM THROUGH EXECUTION…THAT ALONE IS ENOUGH HYPE TO BE INTERESTED IN PLAYIN MVC2!!!

ITS STRANGE THAT IN3RDCVS2ST*ETC NONE CAN ACHIEVE A BETTER WINNING RATIO THAN JWONG IN FIGHTING GAMES(EastCoast)…BUT YET WE DONT EVEN HAVE THE BEST PLAYERS IN THOSE GAMES ON OUR COAST…IN EVO 2007…RICKY BEAT JWONG IN CVS2, ALEX VALLE PUT JWONG OUT OF 3RD STRIKE…

for real tho, i don’t think JPN is all that lame in marvel, they play solid. I’ve seen some MSP, Santhrax, and variety of other popular teams played in some of their vids with clean execution and finesse. i can’t hate on players like KANU and call them weak b/c they decide to play teams such as BISON/HULK/SIM in competitive play. can’t hate at all. actually, it is quite entertaining
