No really, his Necro has a long way to go, but at least it’s not total garbage any more. And his Ken isn’t bad either, he’s steadily getting better with Ken.

Actually I’m working 5 to close Friday and Saturday, so I’m screwed for this weekend. Hopefully I’ll be able to join next weekend.

But don’t let fools sleep on this, track them down and get them to play this Friday. Get Eric K, Jay, N-Ken, and Marc G to show up. You could try getting Jose to go, but that’s like flipping a coin.

Um. Wow. Apparently I suck at games.

I just found out how to actually do supers. Like, I’ve always had problems doing the Oro Tengu Stones combo. So I was like “Man it’s so hard to land that last stand strong and cancel in to the super on the first hit”. So I was dicking around and I discovered you can roll the qcf, then hit strong, then roll another qcf and hit three punches.

No seriously you guys, I’ve been playing SF/etc all these years and rolling supers during or after attacks. I’ve never rolled a motion before I started the normal. This is entirely foreign to me. I was seriously beginning to think I had just really slow reactions or something. This realization has made things like low forward super 100 times easier for me.

I know, I know… wow Pat you really suck. Didn’t you know that? Scrub. But I’m telling the truth, I never knew this before. Robin, do you see why I always had trouble with combos? I’ve been doing motions during the hit frames, and it just leaves no room for error. Wow. Like. Street Fighter is a whole new game to me now.

I knew of stuff like buffering the first QCF off a move then do another to supercancel, since that’s what I do for Aegis unblockable setups. But it totally slipped my mind that Oro doesn’t have a QCF+P move. haha
