just got back from the sony store inside tyson’s corner. shit was crazy, cop pulls out a tear gun and people push in closer instead of backing up. managed to convince a guard to let us in through a backdoor, but his nicotine fiendin buddy felt like being an asshole to us…two of my friends actually made it to the front of the crowd, only for the guards to randomly pick 7 bitches from the crowd. add to this on the way home i heard on the radio sony dropped the shipments to the US to 140,000 from 400k. and i’m goin to work very very soon…rage meter maxing…:mad: xbox 360 $100 rebate at micro y’all, fuck sony

Yeah guys, I’m having mad trouble playing SF3. I just can’t do it for some reason. I’m lucky to get past the 3rd or 4th AI character on max difficulty. Any tips for improving my execution/looking for hit confirms/inserting option-selects into motions? I’m just not cut out for this game it seems. I’m too white. I need some black in me. Or asian. And no this isn’t an invite for gay sex. It’s a request so I don’t get beat too hard when I play you guys again. Besides, I’ll be getting plenty of that in the arcades in Japan this January. Beatings, not gay sex.

The graphics are not as superior as they claim they are supposed to be. There’s no good games coming out for it. And the good games that exist already have quickly jumped to x360.

Not true. I’m really good at WoW and RPGs. It’s just in fighters I seem to be handicapped in.
And it’s not landing hits. I’ve never seemed to have a problem with that. Even in CvS2 I used to hit Moose a lot. I could just never follow it up and he would alway follow up his connected pokes. Samething is happening in 3S against the computer, I can hit plenty of low forwards or crouch fierces (c fierce -> ex joudan with Ryu combo, which I read is just retardedly easy to hit confirm by ryu players) I just can’t seem to get the follow ups to come out consistently or actually react to the hit confirm.
I switched to my 4 way stick last night and it seems to be easier to do motions on that now that I’m used to jap sticks. Here’s to hoping I can actually pull this off!

I’m actually really fucking good at Quake 1 on a competitive level (but I have a few years of rust on me). Sadly, I’m way way way better at FPS games than I am Fighters.
