Doing a bit of research from the looks of it I think it’s UHMW since my dad said I couldn’t use fine thread bolts and had to use steel screws to bolt the case together.
This is my brother’s stick. The case is made from Radel and polycarbonate.

Good job. Just an FYI. You don’t need 2 grounds for the Madcatz PCB to the MCC, it’s redundant. I would solder to the Dpad Ground on the Madcatz Fightpad to the Ground Through hole on the end of the board. It is the most convenient.
Thanks for the compliment and tip rtdzign
I soldered a ground to the D-pad but also used another ground cause I’ve been used to having multiple grounds due to being in the automotive field. I’ll remember your advice so my next project won’t be so messy with so many wires.
This is not related but check these LED lights out. They run on 4v batteries.
Starting a hitbox build. Will be wiring up the PCBs today.
Posted a video of my stick with ArcEye2s running on Toodles FGwidget LED control board. Will update on how to rig the ArcEye2 harness for different colors instead of making custom wire harness.
great man but I want to know how to get the RJ45 pin connector and from where, and also where to get the usb connector to plug the MC Cthilhu and the IMP together without any wiring???
This is the exact he used.
And there is no USB thing to connect Cthulhu to Imp.
You have to solder.
sure, have someone else do it for you.
Hello everyone before asking for help to explain that I use a translator. I made this tutorial for making a stick. When I connect to my pc or ps3 I can use it without problems, but when I use it for xbox360 works I have reviewed the tutorial and update the mc chutullu before proceeding. Is there a button to keep it recognized the xbox 360?. For what it’s worth a picture leave the facility. Not very well how to use it is my first stick with a more chulutu first of all thank you very much.
if i remember correctly i think u have to force it into 360 mode.
What could someone explain to me how?
press 1k, 2p and 3k at the same time when plugging your stick in
that is the xbox override string for the chimp which is the same on the new imp v2 setup if i remember correctly
Sweet mother of hot glue! Save some for the rest of us! Good tutorial to add to the mix though. Good work here.
Just a quick question… I’m attempting my first MC build but there’s something bothering me… I know in the MC Cthulhu board the Home button can be disable to use it with Select+Start combination instead of another button, but does this trick also works when the Cthulhu is connected with the Imp and 360 PCBs?
I don’t like the idea of add another hole and button (8+3 configuration) to my case, since I only use 10 buttons in my other sticks.
yes it works for both 360/ps3 its also software based now no need to solder jumper
Thx for your quick reply!
I just had my HitBox dual-modded with an Imp v.2 board, but I forgot to update the MCC firmware. I have been trying to do it yesterday but every time I hold down the start+select buttons my computer won’t recognize it in boot loader mode. Am I going to need to start over with the modding? D:
This a real Hit Box from Hit Box?
Or is it your TE with the Hit Box Acrylic from bencao74?
Because the real Hit Box has a Cthulhu+ inside.
You cannot update it with Multi-Console Cthulhu Firmware.
If you want to update Multi-Console Cthulhu Firmware, you need Multi-Console Cthulhu.
And to turn a normal Cthulhu+ into Multi-Console Cthulhu, you buy $12 Upgrade Kit from Toodles.
If your TE has a Cthulhu+ inside, then same thing above.
If your TE has Multi-Console Cthulhu inside, then just update directly to the Multi-Console Cthulhu.
Plug in a USB to the Multi-Console Cthulhu USB Jack, and do the update.
It’s a real Hit Box.
