Thanks. The Ex flip makes a lot of sense. Even if a tatsu comes out, I think we’ll be okay right? It is invincible. What i mean to say is that Vega’s super doesnt have Zangief’s ultra 2 properties right? That thing will grab anything airborne if I’m not mistaken (invincible or not).
Just to make sure, Gief’s U2 cannot grab anything with throw invincibility, but IIRC Gief is completely invincible until he lands.
EX Tatsu’s invincibility wears out at 8th frame, and at the same time you are considered airborne. Vega can grab you for sure if you do it too early (Vega’s Super has 11f active frames for izuna drop)

EX flip has 26f of invincibility frames. During most of those frames it’s throw invincible and is considered airborne as well.
Moves like Ryu’s EX SRK are considered invincible during all active frames (and becomes airborne in the middle) as well, but not on the way down. There are many moves like that actually.

@street11, im pretty sure Guy can throw ryu/ken out of their shoryukens with his bushin flip grab. I might be wrong though but that’s what I’ve heard :S You are talking about throw invincibility right and not hit invincibility?
Both, actually.
Guy cannot throw Ryu/Ken out of their EX SRK until active frames end. He can still grab them during recovery frames. For non-EX versions, they’re not invincible during airborne periods, except for a few frames with Ryu’s MP SRK.
Well, I DO know that gouken’s shinsho is not throw invincible, as a chun air-threw me out of it. What kinda bs is that?

I see Gouken as the easiest match up for Vega. I am also a PC player and know Darkaine. I don’t even think he is good and after this match you have posted, I don’t know how can you call him " a real good Vega" . He just does random things here. Anyway if you really want a real practice, add me. I had an account but deleted it when I was the 7th Vega

A good Vega or a totally random ass one give me fits. The cautious ones I can deal with. They are few and far between
No Srk is throw invincble, typically an srk is invincbile during startup and if lucky during first(or more) active frames. Once that invincibility is passed, thats when hitboxes come into play and airthrows have great hitboxes.
