The thing is ending the combo with EX ST will net you more stun (455) than EX FBA (405). Even ending the combo with a regular HK ST will give you more stun (420) but obviously less damage. Sometimes getting those final points of stun in are crucial.
What really matters in matches is consistency. I’ll usually also follow-up with EX FBA becuase it’s easier to do but it’s always good to know your options and how they can change the match.
The main part is not the stun difference and whatnot,though. You can’t always rely on EX FBA to get you the full damage because of the wall bug,or simply missing the grab afterwards.

@Tezen, if ur still having trouble, You might be dashing too late. You need to input the dash as you hit the other person. if u wait too long u might be dashing a few frames late, making u miss them.

I wish I had a camera, or recording equipment! I was playing player matches and all of a sudden I’m fighting EdMasterB. (Ed Ma ) I’m kind of excited, I really look up to him as a player, plus I haven’t played many ‘pro’ players other than DreamTR, who I play all of the time. I didn’t expect him to pick Akuma, but I definitely didn’t expect him to pick Vega. I held my own, but he beat me 2 straight. He had great footsies. He didn’t let me walldive at all, but he did get airthrown 4 or 5 times. He actually pulled the rolling crystal flash into super and landed it somehow. I’ve never actually had it happen to me so I guess I panicked. I’ve also never had another Vega reversal my ultra with his own ultra on block. Scrub mistakes, I suppose.

I wish more pro players got xbox’s just to fuck around with so more of them could play with the general public. But im sure if more of them did, they’d immediately shut them off once they experience the lag and just head down to the local arcades.

Theres a reason why i throw alot. It’s messes with their heads and it sets up for other things that i wont share with you. It’s easy to judge people based on random videos online. Put up a vid of yourself and i’ll find all the things you should and shouldnt be doing too. But if you’re wondering why i went for a throw instead of a good punish sometimes, thats because i got nervous and fucked up.
But anyways, all im gonna say is, I got 5th in that tournament and i had to OCV every game because my partner lost every match. 2 weeks ago, i was 1 match away from making top 8 in a big tourney that had over 70 people with $2500 thrown into the pot that included most of the top EC players (wong, marn, sanford, nestor).
Theres more i could say, but instead i’ll just ask you guys this… since you think you’re good, let me see some of your past tournament results. Oh wait, let me guess, you havent been to any tournaments, only play on psn and xbox live and actually think you’re good, huh?
