Hah, I don’t blame a Vega player for thinking Ken is top tier though. Once he gets in on you he’s worse than Ryu. Ken’s weaknesses aren’t really there in the Vega matchup.
He’s at least mid-tier though, which makes him much more viable than Vega.

wow Sasaki it is very impressive. I like your mobility and execution of practical combos. I have hard time getting that jump in fierce, close fierce cancel into fierce roll. That is a very nice combo. I am trying to improve my footsie and it just feels clumsy, I dont know why I feel and look so slow but when I watch these videos in which everyone appears to be so fast. arg.

Straight up MK. Slide should also punish headbutts if you do it as a reversal but the timing seems a lot tighter for some reason. Punishing with MK is very easy.

Nope. My Vega is pretty mediocre now, I’d say. I hardly play the game anymore, even though I still go to tournaments for some reason :bluu: … But I play Bison now, so I actually have options! :woot:
From what I’ve seen, Tatsu and Knucklez are the 2 US Vegas to be paying attention to. At least, from what my knowledge is of the Vega world now…
I just wish there were more video’s of Tatsu and Makoto, etc. I think many Vega players are hitting kind of a plateau where they don’t know how to get better other than always practicing links and footsies. Haha, this generation of Street Fighter players is so spoiled with videos. It’s great.

I didn’t know this until today either. I kept punishing all of my friend’s Honda Headbutts with a medium kick. It was an offline match too! Now the Hondas I play can’t be as headbutt friendly anymore.
you guys never knew s.mk can punish a blocked headbutt? well i guess i should tell you guys that s.hp works too.
