But even in casual matchs he wasn’t able to take a single match from Daigo. :sad:
Holy fuck! Amazing Vega! see how he uses Scarlet Terror guys? Scarlet Terror punishes jump OUTS, not jump INS. He used it to perfection… the surprise ST for the finish was also amazing, as were the EX FBA punishes. We can learn a LOT of advanced techniques from this video… make note, make note!
Haha, I don’t think he wanted to punish a Jump “out” here, he saw a jump, he simply launch his ST. :wgrin:
You may ask yourself “Why someone want to jump-out from Claw ?” :lol:
What impressive here is his reaction time…

And after that, he can stay on the offensive without expose himself too much.

I think u guys r looking a little do into it? lol It’s fuerte, if he jumps he’s either running or trying to splash/grab you. You can also hit him while he’s dashing about. I think it was more of a coincidence that he happened to be retreating on some of them. He was most likely just aiming for ST when he saw him dash or jump regardless of direction.
It makes sense against Fuerte. If you crouch block, he wont slide at u, and all his other specials require him to jump up, leaving him open for a ST to the Dome Piece!
Just an fyi, ST is, based on my exp, the best move vs Fuerte

New Vega hero? Some of these vids are older. I noticed he rarely uses df.RH and relies mostly on normals.
He is about to transition to Ken, I believe.

To be honest I don’t blame him if he does go back to Ken. It’s entirely possible to win with Vega, no doubt, but it’s much, much harder than it should be in certain high level match ups. I mean, just watch pretty much any Vega play against Daigo (or any other Ryu master). They get completely shut down. It’s sad.:sad:
heres some vids of me playing with vega, i usually play alot better but I dont know what happened today lol (maybe pressure while filming) want to use it as an excuse. My execution was off and I didn’t punish like I should’ve. But you notice I play a little smarter as the game progresses enjoy. Usually when I’m not playing at my full potential, I backflip alot when I’m getting rushed down.

i just watched a load of Reiketsu youtube vids, he lost in almost all of them…
I can understand if he goes back to Ken, face it guys, on the highest level of play, Vega is simply not as practical as a top tier character…eg: ken/ryu/sagat etc.
Ken is not top tier, you just think he is because you see a lot of people online using him.
