He did far less SRKs than one would normally do, and NEVER did them on wakeup.
Aside from that, he actually knows how to block Blanka ultra lmfao.

Plus, why all the Ken hate? Zangiefs that do nothing but PPP and counter-picking Blankas that ball all day are worse. I don’t play Ken, but there really AREN’T that many Kens who do reversal DP all day.
He may have not been srk happy, but if dsp would have known what he was doing, he would have been punishing him with vertical blanka balls all day. I try to play 100% off reaction so if I’m not doing anything at times its because well, I hate doing things without being able to visualize and anticipate the reversal… Yeah, I don’t know. I do attempt to train the opponent by pulling risky moves however I don’t always see as big of rewards as I would hope for. The amount I’ve learned about escaping from high pressure situations with the beast after watching our matches over has become invaluable to me. The matches will be entertaining at the very least.
p.s. psychic meaty sliding balrog’s headbutt start-up all day. it’s still fun.
I ran into a flowchart Ken last night, in a G2 championship no less, he had 7k BP. He would try to get in on me by doing a HP SRK, then following up with a EX SRK.
He got me down to 1/2 health the first round because I didn’t think anyone SRK’s on wakeup 100% of the time. Once I realized he was an idiot, the rest of the round, and the entire following round, was me baiting wakeup SRK’s and throwing him.
These people DO exist, it’s amazing. It’s like finding a rare species of animal and observing it’s strange behavior.
But yeah, I think you can get further just spamming lariats with Gief.

I am not a pro player and I would never claim to be. It’s pretty clear here all the times I choked. 1 accidental reset and 1 charge move not coming out both lost me a round each, the accidental medium roll completely destroyed me. I was overall playing badly that day but perhaps you can pull away some tactics from pieces of the gameplay. fun stuff. vega is amazing. gimme another week with him, i’m excited
