Nobody respects Vega (maybe El Fuerte…). That’s why you gotta take that shit! Vega ain’t a shoto, so it’s not expected to come easy. We don’t earn respect, we take it.

I’ve never been shoryu’d out of it. Though the idea’s always been in the back of my moind, so I only do it when I predict no shoryu.
Headbutt from Balrog, on the other hand, is not safe. It’s annoying because it’s a move that takes so long to start up, but it has stupid invincibility.

First round went well. Second round…not so much…third round…well you’ll see. I had already dropped my controller in defeat, then had to retrieve it and think of what to do, which is why there was an abundance of joy
And there’s commentary, because my final matches never get recorded anymore because i can’t get past 75k championship points again, so i recorded it live
Yeah the way they handled replays is just really pathetic. Chun-Li is a hard match, in my eyes you did pretty well, even if it was sort of luck. I’ve been trying to just completely eliminate my urge to blind wall dive. The only times I really love using it is when you can tell some guy just learned he can FADC it, just to grab him out of it over and over. I don’t think I’ve ever consciously played wake up mind-games either, so I need to start doing that.
Vega just has a lot more mistakes to make than other characters, even if it sounds apologetic it’s kind of true. So I try to remember that, for example in a Gief vs. Vega match you have maybe two mistakes (I feel like I’m repeating someone else), and against a Chun, Akuma, or Ryu who really has their BnB your number of allowable mistakes gets quickly more similar to the Gief match up.
EDIT: When I get this capture card set up I think I might record a few of my matches, since in a rare one here or there, it seems like I really know what I’m doing.
Agreed. This X1000. With Vega, you spend a majority of your time playing footsie, slowly chipping away at your opponents in different ways… but against someone like Zangief, all it means is that he has more opportunities for you to make a blunder and to show you why Russian wrestling is always #1.

Yeah, I saw that. Crouching light kick still works if you assign it as throw. Basically, all you are sacrificing is easy access to your standing light kick… and you’re gaining an ez-throw.
But since you can’t reassign your buttons in the arcade… I’d not try to grow too comfortable to such a change. 
Not trying to tell you how to play but why didn’t you use BHC on Chun rounds 2 and 3? You were already near a wall, you had Ultra stocked, and she kept throwing out random fireballs, most of which weren’t that close. IMO you could have ended the match round 2.
You know…I was having bad luck with it all day, so for some reason i decided not to try it. I just suck at imputing it when i need it it. Just like after the df.rh crossover thingy, i usually do c.mk->c.lp->ex-FBA, but i didn’t feel confident midway through the crossover, so i just did c.lk

Anyone else had the pleasure of using the ultra on the wrong wall and catching up to the projectile you were trying to fly through? It’s a great way to lose a match.

Not bad Zero, though if you want some constructive criticism my advice is to throw out less naked wall-dives. Other than that, pretty good matches.

That was a pretty funny video, but you could have combo’d into Flying Barcelona a few times during the 2nd round. Good stuff though
