I dont want to sound like a bitch but if u play like that , then u suck at this game
what u SHOULD do is try some setups , combos and specials and see how the opponent reacts to them , so that by the 2nd or 3rd round maximum , u have a strategy that’ll beat them for sure
going in a pattern over and over only works on noobs , and may work if you use characters like Sagat , Guile or Ryu
if u actually play that way , then drop Vega and switch , Vega aint for you

if things keep going as they are now with Vega users whining and dropping him , seems like I’ll be the only Vega user left after a month or so :wtf:

the problem is vega is a low damage character who needs to take risks to set up damage, other characters need to take risks but they get much more if it works. and i have won small local tourneys with vega but i dont feel like he meshes with my play style, i like to press the action and rushdown vega has too many holes and is too risky. i really dont think all the players dropping vega are doing it because we never tried “set ups”. the problem with vegas mixup game is that he isnt rewarded enough for it and his mixup game is limited to oki games and df. rh setups. other characters have much better mixups and an easier time setting them up.

on a non serious level i will still be playing vega, but at tourneys and evo i’ll be playing as zangief who i like significantly more, and i win much more consitently with.

He’s prolly the best Oregon player, and my teammate for Evo 3s. I’m pretty sure he’s getting good at SF4, so he’d be good to learn from or exchange ideas with. :tup:
