That looked pretty good IMO, thanks for posting those vids man.
Dreadz, excellent damn match man. Here’s my latest upload:
aka How NOT to fight Blanka with Vega if you want to win featuring bad habits that I normally let go of and stupidity.
I was being REALLY dumb most of the time and not concentrating, probably because I was irritated that I magically lost 300+gp because the previous Championship didn’t “finish” correctly or whatever that bullshit message said.
I don’t normally play like that but damn, looking back at it I was HORRIBLE that match. Either way, I won and I thought it was funny. I’ll be uploading more later now that my damn TV is fixed.
I seriously love all of you (like I love a cold beer on a hot summer day) in here posting your videos.
After watching dreadz I hit the gym to practice my links. I also would have NEVER thought to link cr.mp to exFBA. I do it now though.
My cr.jab to cr.mp link has improved, at least offline. Not sure how it will go online. I didn’t play CM yesterday. Well see how it goes tonight…hopefully at the very worst Ill be runner up a bunch of times.
Nice matches man, I like your style. Solid defense and poking with touches of rush here & there; that’s what I’m trying to apply when I play too. I sent the vid to a (not ber-smart) guy who thought I was the one playing lol.
Here’s a vid I posted in another thread, but I guess nobody will mind if I post it again since we’re sharing our videos, a 2-set match with my team mate who plays Blanka & Gief (lol lucky me):

So I finally had the time to play, and got into G2 ranking today.
I was surprised I squeezed out a victory in my first G2 tourny final vs a 5900 GP Chun I don’t know this matchup very well, and I think you can tell from the video.
Edit: nvm, videos aren’t uploaded properly
Truth.
If you qualify for being able to save the replay (I forget the requirements), then you can just sort “Replays” by “Friends,” click on yours, turn off the damn voting options and record that.
Not anywhere as useful as saving them to your hard drive, but it’s better than nothing.
here’s a vid o mine: vs. sagat.
i think i just ended up getting in his head and he made mistakes, but i learned something about the tiger knee hehe

So you could say… the experimilk was a success
Informative video. I was also unware that ST + Tiger Knee would have that result.
I always thought it got stuffed. Maybe it’s just my god awful timing… Good video though experiMILK, I’ll have to start trying ST again.

I don’t fight very well in any of these matches, but I still pulled out victories in all three. All my really good fights seem to happen in the first or second rounds.
Anyway.
Not bad man. You seem to like to Ultra off the opposite wall, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but in a lot of the situations you used it in, had you tried it off your wall instead you would’ve maybe connected rather than flying right over their head. Just something to think about, not bad though.
You’re from Seattle? Do you ever play at Gameworks downtown? We need more Vega heads there…
Heh, I know I’ve posted here before about using the Ultra off the opposite wall to surprise people. I’ve found that it’s so ineffective against characters like Balrog that I tend to have just as much success rolling the dice as I do trying to carefully plan it.
When I’m fighting characters with fireballs, I can usually bait them into fireballs by just backflipping repeatedly. And, of course, since I’m charging while doing the backflips, all it takes is one fireball and I can connect.
But against characters like C. Viper and Rufus and Balrog, I can never seem to get the spacing/timing right to use it as an anti-air, so I’ll just throw it off the opposite wall and hope to get lucky. Usually when I do it, it’s relatively safe if I miss, so worst case scenario, I’m at max range.
Oh, and about 30-50% of the time I try to do his ultra, I end up doing a wall dive by accident. No idea why that keeps persisting, although I think it’s because I don’t hit the third button hard enough.
Anyway, to answer your question, I can walk to Gameworks in about 10 minutes from my apartment, but I’ve only been there twice, ever. I didn’t even know SF4 was there. Maybe I’ll head up there this weekend.

I sandbagged the last match so that Keno could get practice. Seriously. lol.
Also, in case you guys are having problems with Blanka, I tried my best to show off how I usually deal with him. Try to lure him into the corner, then lock him down at the specific distance in which I was fighting. Enjoy! More vids to come soon! :lovin:
Very nice Vega, bebop.
Badass Vega as always bebop, I’ve never seen a Blanka punked into a corner like that. You know I didn’t know you could hit ST off of Cosmic Heel until I saw you do it, now I have a new toy.

Tatsu vs Jack @ 2:50
Tatsu played very well throughout this whole tournament. A video will be out soon of him getting his revenge and almost OCVing Jack’s team.
p.s. Every time you see something crazy, and hear someone in the background say “WoooW,” that’s me! lol
For instance: 2:56, right after Jack combo’s the tiger knee from tiger uppercut, and 5:45, right after tatsu uses ST to go over the low tiger shot. Soooo PIMP!!!
Awesome stuff Bebop, makes me not wanna quit on Vega after losing so bad today lol.
Def man, I’ll probably be there Friday. Competition there can be pretty inconsistent but usually the weekends (evenings) are a good time to go. If you go and there’s a white dude playing Vega, it’s probably me, so feel free to say what’s up.
Thanks for the videos Bebop, good stuff as always. I’m seeing more and more players use that jumping air backflip move for anti-air, I should give that a go next time.
“Oh my fucking GOD!” after that Sagat on Sagat action
Fuckin Bebop lol
Hmm… Is EX Sky High Claw invincible on the way to the wall or are you guys just really ballsy? I NEVER go towards the opponent when I do it…
