DEFINITELY not invincible. I’ve been stuffed out of it plenty of times. It can be a good trick to use on the opposite wall though, since it happens so quick, catch your opponent off guard.

actually i think i managed to fully OCV Jack’s team when we played them again in loser’s bracket. dunno if there’s gonna be a video of it, but if you guys are going to watch any of my videos from this tourney, i just want to warn you in advance that you’ll see me dropping combos and screwing up a lot in general! too much kof98 in between matches lol

Compared to Bebop and Tatsu, this is certainly no prize, but here you go – kind of crappy Bison vs. kind of crappy Vega. I wish I could have gotten a video of my dismantling of a Gen, but this will have to do.

There are only two videos up right now. I’d love to put some up of me really getting my ass kicked badly but I just bought my Hauppauge PVR but it’s .ts and .m2ts files are giving me fits.
Also, it’d be awesome if you guys could watch both clips and comment on the quality. One of the files is 3x larger than the other and I’m debating if the difference in quality is worth the huge file size.

The bison was too mild. I have trouble with anyone except for vega being super aggressive. Hard to stop the rushes and that depends on the the footsie and zoning game a lot imo. Keep up the good work and hope you show more videos where you can stop the rushes, I think we will all learn from that. Thank you!:pleased:
ah, good stuff. I have a question for you vs shotos.
You know when a ryu jumps in, he does jump roundhouse, low jab *2, then he can proceed to either jump in again to cross up since the distance is perfect or go with a throw, which i have always failed to tech that after the 2 low jabs, because if whenever I do, it is like they read my mind they just do a light shoryuken and follow up with a fireball, then jump in again. this guy didn’t use this tactic and when u are falling he wasn’t fireball to max out the damage either. How do you counter that or improve the zoning vs continuous rushes that mixes with a lot of throws. I am very frustrated with this and I think mentally i am scared and overthink the process too much and because of that defensive play i actually lose a lot more than I should.
Side note, how do you record these high quality videos, I want to do the same and post here for yall to help me get much better.
my boy recorded it for me from the replay feature on xbox live. what i do against shotos when they try to rush down with cross ups and all that i just fadc right when they are at the top of my head going for the scorrs up. dash forward then jump backwards with mp. i played that guy before and he tried to throw fireballs and cross me up the whole time and i got a perfect on him the first round then near perfect the second. i think thats why he wasnt doing it in this match. but he wasnt that good anyway though i think.
Ah I see. I think lag plays a major role in the fadc part of it, because I tried so many times I always get swept or low jabbed out of it. i mean you can’t get any worse if you get jabbed out of a FA … I still dont know how a full heavy dp can take as much damage as our super… anyways. I need to try it more i guess…
So for xbox, you can record through xbox and directly put it on pc? coz the quality for all your videos are SO HIGH, you can see the fine prints of your gp and everything very clearly. Mad jealous here lol.
nah you cant put it on pc hrough the xbox. my boy checked out my video from the leaderboards and recorded it on a media card and uploaded it that way.
Yeah hangeer, that’s the biggest problem for me right now too. I can’t seem to effectively escape all the rushdown/crossup pressure from shotos, bison, blanka, etc. I get the odd ST reversal but it’s not reliable when they’re close.

Heh. I beat JBell84 three times last night – one of those times was the semi-final match I won to get to the Bison I beat in that video I linked in my last post. Poor guy, getting eviscerated by Vegas all over the place!
