OK, obligatory question: How the heck he backdash twice and then use U2? Backdash U2 is not that hard, but double backdash into U2 is new to me.
my guess:
tap backdash to cancel the recovery from focus then charge during the lag time between when you input the backdash and he actually does the backdash and continue charging until he completes the backdash then tap forward during the recovery of the first backdash, tap down back twice and then tap forward + KKK

Back in vanilla vega could be interrupted during both mp and hard RCF. In super they made the medium one impossible to be cut in between but they didn’t do the same for the hard version.If you have watched many vega vids in vanilla there are quite a few incidents where he is being interrupted during both versions of the roll.
Tatsu was teaching me how to do it at the ReveLAtions tournament that we were both at. You buffer the charge at the start of your focus and while you’re backdashing, the charge remains buffered and you just do the motion and out it comes. He must of did it like 10 times trying to teach me how to do it and I screwed it up every time. Sorry Tatsu, 
I can do it now though thanks to him.
Just to add to the topic, if you’ve seen Makoto’s recent replays he uses cls.HP xx MP.RCF because the HP version has so much start up that anyone that has a start up invincible reversal can mash it out inbetween. Most people don’t know this or won’t take the risk of mashing out of it.
I know mproll had that in Vanilla. But as far as I know hproll didn’t have that. Have never seen it cut. This is new.
I think everyone knows this. I go for lproll if its blocked. Cause mproll also can be punished at its start-up by 3fr srks. Even cl.st hp itself can be cut in between two slashes…
Actualy CstHp, mp rcf is a blockstring…CstHp,lp RCf is not…you can be punished by shoryuken after the first hit of the Lp roll and before the slash…abot Hp Rcf once CPU Dan interrupted the blocked roll with ultra…CPU Ibuki used to interrup the blocked Roll with ultra pretty much every time…this was in AE…also about the last brokkenG match…I liked the way she punished overheads with Instant overhead…

So I’ve hit the training room and tried cl.hp into all rolls. I was Ryu. Mashed that SRK. And I was only able to punish cshp-hproll. I couldn’t even cut two slashes of cl.hp itself. I mashed it hard. But to no avail. And to cut between rolls themselves? HOW? How is that done?
