Australia is a bit too far for me at the moment so I don’t think I’ll be going to Shadowloo Showdown. I was planning on at least going to East Coast Throwdown in June and also EVO, although my family has planned a trip to visit relatives on that same weekend so I have to try and work something out. Maybe I can fly to my relatives, then fly to Vegas, then fly back home.

I’m hoping to make it to CEO. I live right next to Orlando, so it would be sillyness for me not to attend. Plus, my friend Nuckle will be there too and I gotta support him.

i just watched the guile match,
my one piece of advice is that at about the 11 minute mark you walk him all the way across the screen, right?
vega’s walk speed out matches guile’s sonic boom speed. you can walk forward and block as late as possible and if he keeps shotting SB’s you’ll be pushing him back
once in the corner, guile is in a bad spot. but if he decides to play the SB game (since vega is soooooo bad at dealing with it otherwise) then you just have to march him. Walk speed is a very abstract tool but there’s a reason vega is the fastest, he needs it.
Otherwise, you can always jump to get into position (by that i don’t mean jump in on guile, i mean jump in front of guile over a SB) to help too. when guile jumps in on you it’s not really a problem, his damage output is crap. getting thrown is lame too but let’s face it, there are scarier characters out there
you just have to be really conservative and prioritize getting into the right range and playing your game.
For all you attending CEO hoping to have the highest placing Vega, sorry I’ll be in attendance and if I can afford it I’ll be entering and taking that title
Why are you apologizing for paying to watch me win CEO? It’s going to be a great show I promise and I’ll even Dedicate the finals to you.
