I may have some notes on the sim match up. I tend to use u1 lately with some success, as it limits his jump back movement, and hinders his teleport fireball mixups. Also meter management I feel has to be a bit different for sim. If you keep a meter for when sim jumps back and attacks, as far as I know, that is a free ex fba. After that it puts the burden on sim to get out. Random wall dives dont work against any decent sim, as they can slide under it. That’s all I can recall offhand.

German Luger did very well at FR (17th overall) any video of him?
Luger and I teamed up in the 3 vs 3 SSF4 team tournament and went 4-2 but no videos were recorded on it. He almost made it out of his pool after knocking Yipes out of the tournament. He lost to Min in a close one. I had the worst luck with my pool. My first match was Mike Ross and ended up only taking 2 rounds off him in different sets. Then I won 2 and lost to a random ass Fuerte that went on to the losers final in my pool.
Yipes, even though hates SSF4 is still pretty damn good at it. Nice job Luger knocking him out! 4-2 in a 32 man tournament is pretty good, top 8 if my math is correct. I’m surprised ya’ll didn’t end up on stream at least once

Is there a video of some good Vega like Reiketsu or Makoto or whoever is top these days, which demonstrates why Vega Blanka is 6-4 now. I kinda keep losing to him. Could be my mindset, still would be nice to see a pro handle the matter.

Viper is one of those characters where either you play the perfect defense game or disregard your fundamentals and go bat shit crazy. Good job though Joz it was obvious you where getting better at decision making during the match. Only thing id say is reversal ST once in a while at random. It really helps because it makes back dash much more viable. shit I wish someone would beast on me like that.

that match was 2 orange bars. its gotten to the point where most players can still do their combos in lag, but how the fuck are you supposed to block Viper with input delay? That set should not have been posted online… completely fuckin pointless.
