Masters of Their Craft

holy shit! he wasn’t just using the damn character… that guy IS Slayer! that’s interesting and scary at the same time. it’s like he just totally stopped fucking around and went all out on him

That I-No was :wow:

Yeah, that was a bad match, great methodical display. I never got into JoJo’s, but I always liked it. The combos and such were cool. Do you know why it never grew into something bigger? It seems gamers just outgrew it or something…

qudans devil jin vs zekusu devil jin

excellent clutch playing from qudans. this vid is from sbo 2006 i believe. not sure if it was casuals. qudans at that moment was the best devil jin player in the world, hands down, and completely raped after sbo was over and his team took an early L. i think still to this day, there are unknown specific results of some matches that went on after sbo, out of respect to the players, but qudans took it. i would have to find the thread on zaibatsu from years back. anyways, zekusu also a very good and well know devil jin player in japan, and faces off against the best in this one.

this is how you play devil jin, this is how you play tekken. execellent come back by qudans in round 3 and 5. never give up

Wow… Kuroda is sick!

With the little I knew about Kuroda, I thought he was just a Q player. He has a pretty sick mix-up game (Gouki/esp Ibuki). Is he a ‘jack-of-all-trades’? or is he a ‘master’ of any one character?

He can play the whole roster at a high level. He has a few characters, which stand out from the rest, though. If you watch his Kuroda dvds some of the characters he is clearly beast with are Gouki, Dudley, Hugo, Ken, Ibuki, and Q. He also plays pretty unorthodox with some characters as well, and still excels.

Some people have debated on who is main. I mean he has entered SBO with Q and Gouki so those are most likely his mains or maybe just his favorite characters,. He has tried to qualify with other characters, though. This year he tried with Ibuki, but he then switched back to Q and gave the OCV treatment to plenty of teams.

my favorite clock video. So ahead of the times. If you know S\D, this is 2k4 s\d.

I love the videos thus far. Can we also include some cool stories of tactics that could have been, but didn’t happen? For example, I read a while back that Shuma Gorath was almost overpowered in MvC2, but got nerfed. Can someone verify that story? Who was the mastermind that discovered Shuma’s potential “broken-ness”? How was he overpowered? What were the nerfs?
