Finished the DLC earlier. Like it alot, the new stuff you get from the DLC is pretty cool and shes a neat character. Sucks she is like zaaed as in she can’t have romance options or have interactive conversations like the rest of the crew.

Just got done with the Kasumi DLC, and I loved it. Great character, and the mission itself is actually a lot better than the majority of the main cast’s loyalty missions as well. Sucks she doesn’t have any kind of traditional conversation wheel, but she still says a lot of cool stuff. Also, her room is sweet, coolest room in the Normandy. If this is a sign of what is to come as far as DLC is concerned for ME2, I’m very excited, since the game is already my favorite game this gen as it is, all this great extra stuff just make me love the game even more.
I got a chance to play the Kasumi: Stolen Memory DLC yesterday, and to be perfectly honest, I was impressed. I won’t spoil the details, but her loyalty mission was better than some of the non-DLC loyalty missions. What’s more impressive is how well Kasumi performs in combat. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I heard that Kasumi was a rogue-type of character, which I thought would make her die easily on the insanity difficulty level, but thankfully I was pleasantly mistaken. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people start bringing her on missions simply because of how well she performs in combat.
I haven’t gotten a chance to fully experiment with the Locust SMG yet, but from what I have tried of it so far, it seems to be a very accurate SMG. In addition, I noticed that Miranda and Kasumi were freezing targets more quickly (with my squad cryo ammo) with the Locust, although that could just be my imagination. There is another nice reward from the mission, and without spoiling anything, let’s just say that female Shepard players might be surprised.
It’s a shame that she doesn’t have actual dialogue after her loyalty mission (just monologues like Zaeed), but she does seem to have more things to say than Zaeed does on the Normandy, and she’s quite talkative during missions as well. Here’s to hoping that her character is expanded on in the third game.
Edit: I forgot to mention that her bonus power is full of win.
Liara T’Soni is tracking down the mysterious Shadow Broker, and no one is safe. She’ll do anything to recover the man the Broker kidnapped… and the Shadow Broker’s agents will do anything to stop her. Team up with Liara and chase clues from the luxurious heights of Illium to the Shadow Broker’s own secret lair. Adds the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, and five new achievements ? and the chance to continue a relationship with Liara.
I just finished the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, and in my opinion, it was pretty damn good. Definitely my favorite out of all the DLC released thus far.
