Mass Effect 2. Somebody's getting shot and thrown out a window

I hated the combat too, but i adjusted to it. I realized that i was approaching combat wrong and wasn’t using the abilities the way they should’ve been used. If you play out the combat thinking its a shooter it wont be fun, but once you learn how to use teamates and abilities it feels natural. I like the pace of combat much more now that i understand the changes.

4 Hours into it, I love every change made so far a lot of thought went into ME2. Movement controls are more precise, combat has a more intense flow, ME1 inventory system is obsolete, no more repetitive mako levels, hacking minigames are better then playing simon says which is a big deal because cumulatively looting stuff takes up a lot of time.

Imported my paragon soldier and I’m so glad I started as engineer incinerate is GDLKE and drones are good for getting enemies out of cover and distracting them for free hits.

godammit i went through the game with no sex scene! couldnt get to Miranda.

Los, stop being dramatic. This game is TIGHT. You gotta stick with it though.

First Bioware game I’ve really, thoroughly enjoyed. I’m thinking they’re much better in doing very dramatic action hero games than RPGs. Just my view.

Finale is tight as shit. Awesome. Except the boss, personally speaking.

is there any way i can view the damage and other stats on a weapon?
or does it not exist and i should only rely on upgrades to tell me how much dmg it does?

worry about what a weapon is strong/weak against rather than stats.

oh… so they simplified dmg output to a rock, paper, scissors complex? gay

I’ve been playing for just over an hour and I’m enjoying it. I chose Infiltrator as my class, never realised how much I would miss the Assault Rifle. Still I think I’ll power through with this for a play through and see how I feel at the end.

If I was to change class (ie start a new character) what would you suggest would be the easiest for harder difficulties?

Its even simpler than that. Lets say most weapon types have two guns, gun B will be better than gun A, no doubt about that.

Fast firing weapons are good against shields and armor but generally weak damage, slow weapons are more powerful strips protection in huge chunks slower.

so if a gun falls lower on the list than a previous gun, its already better?

Yea, there’s no reason to ever go back to a previous gun once you get a new one. Heavy weapons however are all different and you choose those by preference.

dayaaamn
they threw ALL numbers (xp, stats, dmg) out the window on this one

ya, i was just hoping id still get xp for kills

I just started and is it just me or does that first black byotic you run into look a lot like Kanye West?

agreed, my gf said the same thing
and she will randomly ask “is kanye coming on the next mission with you?”

1st shit that popped in my head when I 1st saw him

INB4 “Yo Shepard I’mma let you finish…” jokes

I just thought about something. His name is Jacob… like Jacob the jeweler who makes all that fancy shit for rappers… coincidence?

Y u gotta be so heartless?
