The official website has a list of all the stat bonuses granted by the special armor. I seem to recall Collector Armor and Inferno Armor being the best.

So what Weapon and Armor do you get in the CE edition since I want to get the CE edition since I get a discount?
Best Buy is going to carry around 10 or so of them per store, so go there to pick it up, I doubt anybody reserved them.
The Collector’s Edition comes with(appropriately enough) Collector Armor, as well as the Collector Assault Rifle, since BioWare seems to believe that everybody plays Soldier.
The collectors armor seriously looks broken as hell, as awesome as it is i might save using it until a couple of playthroughs.
I’m just curious what new character the free DLC will bring and what use he’ll be. Dragon Age’s DLC character was also pretty powerful, i want this to to be unique and useful, but i don’t want an overpowered character.

I’m going to run soldier because I’m lazy. For my allies I’m probably going to use Grunt (which is a stupid name btw), and Subject Zero.
Thane is also an interesting character. I always find the religious characters more interesting than most. I don’t really know why either because I myself am not religious. But he seems like a fun character.
I’ll eventually probably try out everyone though.

Im playing through my soldier sheperd for the third time.
Phew, found a site to order a CE edition. I don’t care that I have to wait a few extra days for it since I’ll have more time to run through ME1 again.
So I just saw the release trailer… Yeah… I think I’m going to have to go to Bioware and stage a hunger strike to get this game early… I know we’re down to T-5 days BUT DAMN! If the game even keeps up half of that intensity level throughout ME2 is a surefire game of the year candidate and candidate for RPG of the year EASY

I wonder how they’re going to handle romances…
I mean I never played a female shep so I never did Kaiden, I always let him die (I know that means he stays dead… which is AWESOME) but with neither Ashley nor Liara as PCs in this game… I mean how will it handle my previous romances? I mean if I get it on with subject zero in the first 15 minutes great for me I guess but how are Ashley / Liara going to feel about this? What role are they going to play in the story? I know in the new trailer Ashley’s right there being hit by the swarm like thingy…
