MAS Systems Official Thread

What cord do I need to fix my joystick? http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/8283/06142010019.jpg

Just want to say I love Mas Systems.

Their sticks are amazing from when I was but in junior high. And that was almost 10 years ago.

You guys build such quality sticks that itā€™s stupid.

The last one I bought from you all was a used one from an ebay seller a while ago and this thing has been beaten up and banged and unlike a ā€œPelican Tournament Readyā€ stick that I bought years ago this thing is still alive and kicking and I donā€™t think anything can stop it unless I deliberately beat on it.

Now my quick question is, I want to buy a stick from you all again and price really is no object.

I want the same layout like this

PS2 Dreamcast MAS arcade stick HAPP plus PS3 Gamecube - eBay (item 160448146376 end time Jun-29-10 17:57:14 PDT)

Except everything black except the digital/analog button.

I want it for xbox 360 and ps3 exclusively. I am using an inpin for my current mas stick as my current stick is the exact same layout like that but is only for ps2.

What can you offer me? Also, I think my stick is using a happ stick. Not sure.

Better yet, could I possibly get an upgrade on my old stick? Iā€™m not even sure how old this thing since the previous owner said it had been sitting in a closet for years.

Basically, Iā€™d like to

A: buy something with a new stick like I mentioned above and

B: Upgrade my old one by sending it in and paying whatever cost it would take.

Can you change the button layout on the stick if I just wanted to buy a blank box? I am interested in a mini, but looking at the pictures I feel I would need more room for my wrists to rest. Would it be possible to have a custom layout where everything is just moved up an inch or so?

Iā€™m really sorry for the late responses. Some things came up, and I had to pull away for a while. If youā€™re still interested, let me know.

We donā€™t offer different button layouts. If youā€™re in the area, you can try one out for yourself, and maybe we can go from there.

Okā€¦

So I have a MAS Supergun, however the wire from one of the sticks to the main unit is now totaled, so I need to solder it to a new connection but lost the technical wiring documents and need those.

Also, most of my games are Atomiswave, which the sticks are not wired correctly for. Is there any option for atomiswave wired sticks?

What is your current wait time?

PM Sent.

This is one of the reason I built my own Supergun.

how much for a neo geo stick

I didnt know this thread existed, so I made one in the trading outlet section about me wanting to buy a perfect 360 stick for my mas systems box. Can someone please tell me how much will a p360 cost me with installation? I already have a competition one thatā€™s starting to give me problems, so I want to upgrade.
By the way, is the bolsa avenue address in westminster still valid to contact the guy that makes the massystem sticks?
Thanks in advance.

Ever consider just purchasing the part from a distributor and then installing it yourself? It is not hard to do at all and once you aquire the basic skills necessary, it will be something learned that is handy and that you can apply for just about damn near all your arcade/joystick modding needs? Helluva lot cheaper as well since a MAS controller isnā€™t exactly a featherweight.

The only skill I have about stick crafting is using a screwdriver w bolts and a hammer w nails, so if I need to do soldering, or use a drill, then I just forget about it. Plus Im lazy and I have the ca$h. =)

The only problem is that the Chip used it might not be clear what is Voltage, but if it is a USB controller you can tap it from the red wire. An optical requires just a little bit more knowledge than a standard 4 Switch joystick.

You are probably right. I suppose it just ā€œseemsā€ simple for someone who works with them regularly. Stillā€¦ the know-how is easy enough to obtain if the willingness to learn is there. And given that I am guestimating Anthony charging close to $120-$150 USD for this sort of upgrade (figure $50 or more for the partā€¦ $20 to ship toā€¦ $20 to ship backā€¦ plus labor), I think the costs involved alone would necessitate/inspire becoming ā€œeducatedā€ in this area real fast, IMO.
