I’m bored so here goes a thread, what happened to mas sticks? I remember going to the first evos and seeing nothing but mass sticks being used. Now at local tournaments or any console tournament I go too. I rarely see them being used. Mostly Japanese sticks.
I mean it’s not like Japanese sticks weren’t around before, so why is it they’re used more? Only time I see mas anymore is during marvel tournaments… 
i think because they haven’t supported x360 and ps3
and their website looks like it hasn’t been updated for years.
And their sticks don’t look like they’ve been updated for years either… I’d be embarassed to be seen with something looking that ghetto. Especially when for just a little bit more you can get a decent custom.
its because marvel was dying…when marvel comes back, id expect to see more MAS sticks…MAS = marvel stick of choice…
my stick has character and all of the top players love my MAS (JWong, Combofiend, Sanford, and Demon Hyo). Of course they were playing DC games; MvC2 and CvS2.
plus MAS sticks are the only sticks that can be used as a weapon, stool, and table. They are so sturdy. No Japanese stick can withstand my mashing.

I know B1gazn and me are getting our MAS’s dual modded currently. I just feel like im going to break those little japenese sticks when i play with them. I meann, they were made by little japanese guys right? :bgrin:
I remember i bought my MAS stick to play marvel… but who says u need a MAS stick to play marvel, sure they big, sturdy and support button massive button mashing…nvm you do need a mas to play marvel. they need to update theye’re design imo.
Actually, they do make Xbox 360 sticks!

Stop trying to clown on MAS sticks, they are legendary. I swear man people today walk around with their gay ass jap sticks and loli artwork thinking they are hot shit, but in reality they look like bitches.

I still have my Mas stick that supports GC, Dreamcast, PS2 and Xbox. It was great for MVC2. Im wondering how my TE will be for MVC2, might swap out the gate and buttons
Don’t the jap sticks have smaller throws than the american sticks?
but I agree with what was posted above. The convenience is driving the market one way. The jap sticks are mass produced for the 360\ps3’s these days.

Yeah I can see I was obviously wrong when I said that MAS sticks are ugly compared to customs. Note that I said nothing about how well they work.
Just a question from someone who hasn’t used a MAS stick, are they any better than just getting a custom HAPP stick?
I have a pair of MAS sticks. They kill people.
i have a MAS with a new P360. I can’t hit any angles with it. do i need to break it in or is something wrong with it? any help would be great.
Depends on your views on what looks good. I think that mas looks better than the custom stick between those two.
I also think their cases are way better than most customs.
