I dunno about them making Japanese style sticks. Unless I read it completely wrong, that article only made mention of MAS making their own American/European style optical joystick as a sort of competitor to the Happ Perfect 360. However, it’s still good news to hear that MAS is still around and trying new things. I can’t wait to see what they’re bringing down the pipeline with this optical stick!
Interesting, would definitely love to give this a shot. As Ikagi-Chan said, glad to see that MAS is coming out with something new and fresh. The $35 price point is a huge draw for me as well. Other optical joysticks are just too pricey for me to consider.
If any of you got facebook, Arcadeshock has a japanese MAS stick. Seems like the got jap styles and that weird hybrid. I doubt you will be able to buy an optical stick for $35, but I am just glad they are still around.

Welcome back Anthony. Glad to see you posting again.

I mirrored the images on srktt.com and edited the first post.

I’m very down with picking up an American stick. Especially at that price.
(please can I haz 6 button?)

This is what dreams are made of. MAS IS BACK. GOAT.
I never owned a MAS stick before, but the look of there news one’s seem cool. i would probably buy one to help support the company
Wow. Now that I can see a picture of MAS’ new case design for Japanese sticks, I’m excited! I’m glad that Anthony from MAS was able to drop in and say something as well. That’s really really cool.

Also, if I may also say, I smiled when I saw the button layout. I’m glade to see the L1/L2 buttons to the left of the main 6 instead of on the other side next to R1/R2. You don’t see that kind of layout anymore. Good stuff!

Awesome. May bite the bullet and cop a few. I wonder if they have the same range of motion as Wico/Happ P360s.

It’s nothing that’ll make or break a deal, I mostly commented on it because it was a nice bit of nostalgia from the layouts stick makers used to use back then. Both from MAS themselves and other makers like Hori used to do this in the past with their older sticks and in a way, it makes a lot of sense since the L1/L2 buttons are on the left side of the controller, and the R1/R2 buttons are on the right side with the 4 main face buttons in the center.
It makes sense but every game now is configured for the current layout. I actually like the L Face R layout better since it makes sense but for simple plug and play, I just do it the current way.

Awesome, can’t wait to try these out. I am tired of looking all over to find Perfect 360s. It looks like a modded Happ competition. That is great, I feel that the Happ Supers + Wico Sensor may be just a little to big. The comp is a great size.

Holy shit! MAS LIVES!
If they can re-produce anything close to what the Wico360s felt like, I’ll be a fan.
