Marvel's Netflix Universe: Return of the Kingpin

Damn, six episodes in shit got real. I gotta get some sleep but killgrave is real man.

It isn’t as dark as daredevil. That in itself wouldn’t make it better or worse but I feel more attached to the characters here as opposed to DD (well not Rosario). That damn cop was annoying though.

The weeknd in JJ

Sigh, stfu and die in your sleep please. People who have seen the show would like to discuss it in detail without your faggotry.

Jessica Jones was ight. Felt the show was way to slow until the last few episodes.
Most of it wass pretty boring tbh.

Easy man…easy.

What?! I don’t think this show is pandering to women in any way. Explain yourself.

It has its moments were its dragging its feet. It actually took me two days to get through the last half of the last episode, because i kinda figured how it was going to end and wasnt interested. I finished it, and it was a straight episode. I wasnt shocked by anything in the ending, but it was a solid ending. DD’s last episode was undeniably better, regardless of my like for jj over dd (which is a like over dd not by much. I’m still frothing at the mouth for dd season 2).

For me, i was all eyes until like the last 2 episodes. After the end of episode 10, i was like, bruh. lol

In what world is this NOT darker than DD, like real shit.

Kilgrave by HIMSELF guaranteed that. Kilgrave is a genuinely disgusting person.

There’d be times when you feel very slight sympathy then he’d do some shit and its like “You know what nigga? Go die in a fire.”

Tennant really nailed that character.

Is Luke cage gonna be in dd?

Unsure, but remember, his series is next.

DD is darker because little Matt cried when Stick didn’t accept his BFF wristband =(

That’s fucking depressing, man.

I don’t think so.

Just my opinion the world doesn’t feel as dark, there is a more playful tone at times in JJ that I never really got from DD. I’ll run through DD again, as I been meaning to anyway.

Kilgrave is a great villian though, I am not saying he isn’t. Actually now that I think about it, the death is more real and more of a present danger in JJ than in DD. So yea JJ would be darker.

Do you think it’ll even happen that soon?
It’ll really change the dynamic of the shows adding a pregnancy then kid.
Not that it’d be terrible but JJ is like the only well written female “Super Hero” to date, and the only one with a really successful solo show.

I just finished it.

Good show, but it was a bit slower in the first half.

It also seems to have Seinfeld Syndrome, i.e I’m more interested in the others characters like Luke Cage, Killgrave than Jess.

I liked the bar fight and the fight in the penultimate episode.

David Tennant perforrmance as Killgrave was great, and it was good to see him have sympathetic elements, and outright sinister ones.

At first I had no idea why they were spending time with the blond police guy until he said “Give me a red” OH SNAP lol.

The only character I didnt care for was the red haired sister. Her acting /or character mannerisms took me out of the show sometimes.

Hottest ho was Hogarths assistant Pam imo.

7.5/10

If you don’t calm your fake Luke cage ass the fuck up… Actually you more like cloak and dagger. Anyways when is heros for higher nerds?

Well Iron Fist is scheduled to be happening soonish, after Luke Cage and DD season 2 it’ll likely be full gear into doing Iron Fist.

This is getting so hard to finish, this cop guy is totally outta synch with the show, its like the show is trying to be somewhat serious and this asshole is going full ham and wasting the atmosphere.

Also JJ getting Kilgrave to go straight, holy shit. Show is getting a provision 5/10 for effort until I summon the necessary will power to finish this shit.

Kilgrave the kinda person to tell you go get takeout for him, then command you to walk in front of a semi after you leave lol

I love the jokes about his name.

“Killgrave? Really? Did someone already take Murderdeath? Slaughtercorpse?”

Failcest shudders the worst kind of food porn i have been subjected to.

only thing i really took issue with was this;

Spoiler

jessica getting ktfo by robyn? hell no!

overall though i liked the way that she held back while fighting and how that left her vulnerable despite her powers… imo the vulnerability of the character makes her very easy to relate to.
