I don’t know, I mean in the comics he walks around in his punisher garb in broad daylight and no one ever shoots him in the back of the head or anything, so I could definitely see the need for him to look more like an average joe walking around town. I just hope the skull shows up at night and he dishes out some ultra violent punishement and really lives up the the Garth Ennis Punisher Max series. Punisher’s brutal treatment of wise guys was one of the main reasons he was way more feared than the police. You can escape justice, but you can’t escape punishment. I have faith in the DD director that he will do well by the fans.

They need to keep him very situational, no backstory, no crying monologues, no fucking bitches (again fuck you Flash), just him showing up to pop a nigga with the shotgun then disappearing. And yea bonus to keep this guy in the dark as much as possible sweet fucking jesus.

Greg Rucka’s Punisher run was something like you’re describing. He barely spoke, went in a room, slaughtered everyone, left. Only came around when he had to put in work, immediately went back in the shadows. Even went toe to toe with the Avengers toward the end of the run & it was handled realistically (he got his shit kicked in, but got quite a few hits that were believable) Might go re-read that.

Only time I remember Punisher beating DD was when he left sonic traps all over the place and incapacitied him. Shit he even said he would have no chance against him. Beat any money though in S2 these two guys are gonna punch each other around for 10 mins like it could go either way.
Yea Punisher isnt a superhero, DD sure as hell is, hes also a trained ninja, master unarmed combatant etc etc. Am talking about the inevitable punch up between the two and my dismay the first shots of P we see isnt him shooting somebody for stealing a pack of cigs.
The time when Punisher would try to kill people for misdemeanors was stupid. He should be killing the scum of the earth, not dumbasses who don’t know any better.
DD isn’t a Super Hero here. He has his heightened senses but that’s it. It doesn’t make him omnipotent in a fight. He got Stick’s training, but as a young kid and Stick bailed before he could finish.
Honestly, DD’s only actual “super power” in his show is his extreme determination. If you have a problem with that, stick to reading his comics.
