Marvel's Netflix Universe: Return of the Kingpin

they may want certain characters to be the first to open the door. their are some theories floating around that inhumans movie may ignore everything done in agents of shield so far.

That’s not theory, it’s an extreme likelihood because it feels like Marvel really wants the movies to ignore the TV shows as much as possible.

You should definitely watch Walking Dead. Bernthal did a great job portraying a psycho willing to kill to achieve his goals.

A pussywhipped psycho that had no reason to have any fans…but agreed, Berthal did a fantastic job.

Yar ill come around, just going through that fanboi denial stage atm. He was a nutjob in Fury as well, forgot about that movie.

Black Panther too

You can’t take the Netflix series as ‘first experiences’ related to the MCU. Those two work as standalone subworlds, each one. For example, you’ll probably never see aliens on Daredevil.

And we’re still waiting. They’ve had multiple opportunities to even bring Coulson back into the fold or at least MENTION him. At no point did they mention where they got the Helicarrier during Avengers 2 for example.

And there has been mention of frustration with the inability to tie in the TV shows with the movies.

Didnt the new Stark tech bring out about helicarriers in Avengers 2? As per what they said during Winter Solider?

magic is funky in marvel and always has been, part of it tries to play its science then you got dr.strange making it seem like magic and science are 100% seperate.

im curious to see how they play it up in the mcu.

I’m hoping they keep them separate, it is a lot easier to cover potholes if they keep them separate.

its not that hard to get, the problem is marvel hasnt always had 1 vision on how to take their magic stuff. some try to imply their are rules for magic…then you got joe mexican quesedia saying shit like “magic has no rules and its whatever you want it to be”.

they need to align everyone on how magic works…its either a form of science or its not. but they need to pick one vision for it.

Science at a high-enough level is indistinguishable to magic. Like the celestials, who are just crazy-advanced aliens, and their technology easily PWNs Gods.

Even Odin with combined God powers and the destroyer armor, isn’t worth shiiiit to Celestial technology.

You also have to remember that everyone is doing magic in their own way or were taught in that specific way. So in order for them to do magic, they HAVE to do it a certain way or it doesn’t work, thus everyone having their own opinions on what magic actually is.

Unless you’re Doom.

Which reminds me. Have Doom and Black Panther every fought before? I think that’d be an interesting read.

once again captain canada…this all depends on whos writing it. they dont have a unifying vision. today science and magic are the same tomarrow…you got dr.strange using voodo magic to pimp out satan.

There has to be a separation of magic and true science. Doctor Strange is definitely using magic. Borrowed powers, from magic beings.

They have in a story called Doom War. Don’t read it.

The only instance of Doom/Panther I know before that was the World Tour arc in Black Panther where he and Storm went on a diplomatic tour around the MU shortly after their marriage.

Elodie Yung got casted as Elektra for season 2.

Elektra will be played by Elodie Yung (Jinx from GI Joe retaliation)

She is Cambodian/French ,not Greek like in the comics.
