I rather see the Punisher show up on Daredevil’s second season then get his own show.
Punisher having a recurring role on DD would be cool prior getting his own spin off series, test those waters and what not.

He has gone on the record to state he would love to do the role again. He wanted to do the second movie, but was occupied when they started filming.
ehhh…hard to test the waters like that when all 13 episodes are shown at once. its not like regular tv where you can have a whole year for people to digest the character and see how they felt over a prolonged period of time.
Sure you can, he only needs to show up in 3 or 4 episodes of those 13 episodes, if he is well received wouldn’t that be enough of an indication?

Jane as punisher again would be dope
Punisher is a property people would watch. Especially as war journal.

Thinking about it, as much as I would love Punisher to get his own show it would be better off to have him as a character in future DD, the setup is already there for it to be perfect.
We already saw Stick and DD argue over killing enemies so there would be great conflict if Punisher shows up to crush the post invasion crime wave hitting NY, also aside from his origin story there isnt a lot of dialogue for P to carry a show aside intel gathering his victims then resupplyin for the next hit. Good contrast of styles as well, Murdoch doing his parkour 10 hit combos compared to Punisher’s bone crushing efficiency. Even his major arcs could be done in a few episodes since he has no moral or ethical qualms over what he does, get in kill get out. He would make a great wildcard character that could even be used as dues ex machina.
Jane would be the only choice for the character, Steveson did a better job but age isnt on his side plus Jane can tone down the likability and find some gel to slick his hair back, then hell be just as good. That said with the current casting of comic book stuff I wouldnt be surprised if they found some 5’5 160lbs black guy to play him, fuck my day up properly.
If they get venom right as reign, it would be so awesome as a netflix series. Showing him going heel to face.

So I finished this last night and just loved it. I never really read a whole lot of Daredevil as a kid, I got all my comic books from my cousin as hand me downs and he was really into the bigger books like X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, that kind of stuff. So where should I start with reading Daredevil and are his good stories available as collections. I prefer reading them in my hands but don’t have the patience to hunt down individual issues lol.
