I still love this game, I play spider-man, besides his reset and AC, what are other useful tactics should I learn with him?
This is a helpful thread. I have a couple of questions.
How does one use Juggernaut effectively? He is a blast to play as so far, especially since his super-armor seems to be more effective in this game. Using gems as alpha counters is a very helpful tip, but what else should I know? Also, why does he have a good match-up against Wolverine?
Could someone describe Spider-Man’s air mix-ups to me?
Does the timing for a tech-roll (the one that avoids damage) change after your character is thrown into a wall? Also does the timing change depending on character size?

i know mags lk inf mid screen and corner. how would i land or set it up on wolv and spidey? they always seem to slip away. also what are some good tactics vs them?
also what are some psylocke infs, combos, the main stuff? and general gameplay moves.
any match vids with them? i seen a few mag ones but it looked like the mag player sucked lol

Ironman is self explantory really. Use his god-like airdash skills to get in on the opponent and start the “Guilty Gear” infinite as I call it,d+4,s.5,superjump cancel and air dash right after into 4,5,d+3. Repeat until death.
You can also play around with his air dash to get better shit going but this is the basic thing I use with him./

The version everyone is talking about is the arcade version right? If so, shouldn’t Thanos, Doom and Anita be left out of the ratings? If I remember correctly, the codes to select those 3 were insanely hard. I’ve tried for about 2 years to get it out in the arcade and saturn back then but have always failed except for a few lucky tries.

I think Thanos/Doom/Anita were only included in the japanese board of the thru a code or something??
Anyhow, leaving those 3 in the rankings was probably just for informational purposes, just to show how broken Thanos and Anita are. If there was an actual MSH tournament, I’m pretty sure they’d be banned, (even doom even though he sucks).
so can someone explain why cap is soo great? i know he has good damage and normals but other than that i dont find him to be that special. just block and dont get hit often and its fine. whereas if u can get hit by wolv or IM its gg.
He had that unblockable c.mk sorta like dr. dooms c.hk from cvs2. Hes also like at 2x faster than he was in the other incarnations and even faster shieldless. He still has reach with the shield, has a double jump, does good damage and makes good usage of the gems. i think he has an infinite with the speed gem.
Don’t forget that his s.mp is a launcher+it’s 1 FUCKIN’ FRAME!! Also has godlike juggles AFTER a air combo in the corner and a infinite on a standing Blackheart.
