Late, but only now did I realize that Iron Man can build meter in the wacky way that MvC1 War Machine can. (Activate qcb+kk flight mode, mash on punch buttons) :looney:

I am inclined to agree. Unlike the MvC2 version, he doesn’t need assists all that much and has access to mp and mk (the latter being a really really good stuffing move). And gems.

How do you make use of the different Infernos? All I know is that lightning version can lead to Heart of Darkness.

Actually, that doesn’t work. You need to do launch, aircombo into jab web ball, sj.jab-short, land, then relaunch (s.strong). Easiest aircombo to set up the right height for web ball is launch, sj.strong-forward-jab web ball; you don’t have to do it slowly, nor is the timing hard. Frequently, the infinite will “uncombo.”

I can’t get this to work. If I wait too much after the web ball, the opp can block. I I don’t, the opp gets higher and higher and I miss the combo after like 3 reps. Any help?

Also, tips on how to land the almighty S.MP would be nice. I’m trying either mutilple hit jump ins or dash C.LK, S.MP.

This is a helpful thread. I have a couple of questions.

How does one use Juggernaut effectively? He is a blast to play as so far, especially since his super-armor seems to be more effective in this game. Using gems as alpha counters is a very helpful tip, but what else should I know? Also, why does he have a good match-up against Wolverine?

I have the exact same questions as the guy I quoted. I 'd also like to read a breakdown of Spidey vs Wolvie options. So far I’m playing Spidey and I use s MP as AA and randomly on the ground. I’m too afraid of jumping in cause I get launched into 100%.
