I meanā¦there is a reason why people say Prep Time Batman is god tier. He has fail safes for every single one of his allies in case they turn against him or their oath to protect the world. Likeā¦he knows how to expose them mentally, emotionally and physically. He doesnāt have any super powers but neither do most of his rogues gallery outside of mutations like killer croc, clay face, bane (Who he still canāt win in hand-to-hand against due to the massive gap in strength.) and a few others. some of them are on the super natural side like Ras.
Most of the intergalactic baddies he fights like Branciac and Doomsday Darksied are villains of Supes or justice league as a whole. He still provides a shit ton though. I mean, dude built the justice league space station cause he was bored. Lol
I do mind escapism, obviously.
As such, I do not mind suspension of disbelief.
What I DO mind, is when a story does not choose to follow its own internal logic.
Donāt play dumb (unless you arenāt playingā¦) Comics have had different versions of heroes (silver age Superman vs post crisis vs new 52 for example) and the current movie universe is no different. Hawkeye is not using a nuclear tip on the movies or some plot device, same way Cap wonāt resurrect if killed (OMG but he did in the comics!). Just like how some nerds argue Hulk is unbeatable (in comics he kinda is) yet in MCU he has shown to be overpowered (check AA).
Batman? ROFL he is the brains of JL and the one with the plans. Read the Tower of Babel arc and you can delete your question. Black Widow against Thanos? Good luck with that.

Nothing within the MCU is preventing Hawkeye from doing precisely that.
In no way has that been established as being implausible.
And Batman isnt the brains of the JL, unless badly written, or at least half the JL being dead, high, or turned.

Because they are stupid. āPrep Timeā only goes so far when you are dealing with beings that move at speeds that you canāt even perceive. āPrep Time Batmanā, when taken too far, diminishes what makes Batman a great character. It pushes him into a Marty Stu level and requires copious levels of plot armor to explain away him defeating characters that frankly would be impossible for him to claim victory against.

Likeā¦even though Superman is the unofficial āleaderā of JLA Batman is still the brains of the group and provides A LOT of support in various different means. Tech, transport, keeping identities secret, keeping catastrophes from leaking to the world, Battle plans to stop a seemingly unstoppable force (he is the worlds greatest detective after all). Heās also trained many justice league members hand to hand combat.
Likeā¦Batman is super important. Heās one of the three pillars of JL (Superman and Wonder Woman being the other two)
I agree with this completely. Itās why I hate Batman as a character. There have been a lot of great Bats stories through the years but a lot of them Iām just likeā¦

Batman is a great Barbara Gordon for the JL.
How do you feel about Iron-Man then? Heās one of the Avengers Prime (IM/Thor/Cap). Theyāre almost the exact same except Tony has a battle suit and while Batman does too (See: Batman Knightfall) he uses it very seldomly.
Tony Stark has superhuman intelligence.

Yeah. The smartest person in the marvel right now in a 9-year old girl that goes by Moon Girl. She also hangs out with a giant red t-Rex called Devil Dino who she can swap consciousness with. What I read of her series it was REALLY good. I think Marvel cancelled it though? Iām not sure

Becase in the comics, the Infinity war didnāt start till well after the Snap, everyone in marvel basically got together to fight Thanos.
And in the fight Thanos bodies everyone in the worst ways as he still had the gauntlet.
In the comics, Thanos only lost as he took of the gauntlet and a half dead and very skeletal Nembula took the gauntlet, put it on and the first thing she did was actually restore her self, then everyone else.
