Marvel Studios | The Infinity Saga ends

But he’s talked about creating a new brand and banner. I think 20th Century Fox (which only recently has been decided to keep going one) could be that, and Deadpool will be released with that brand.

It’s not going to because Igor doesn’t Marvel IPs split up.

Multi-billion dollar deal to unify the brands under one banner.

Keep them split anyway.

A weapon to rival Metal Gear.

You know, a lot of those complaints about being “too burdened” basically apply to any big team book from Marvel or DC, what with their years of stories. Though Marvel does have it worse since they don’t reboot their timeline with a crisis every few years.

But he’s also talked about “don’t want to confuse people” about what is what; I don’t think Marvel will release R-Rated movies.

I think characters that will be ‘big players’ in Marvel, like Doctor Doom, will stay in Marvel Studios pictures only, but little guys like Blade could have their own movies produced by Feige but released under the Fox band. They could still be part of the MCU, á la Netflix Defenders.

I think Deadpool 3 will be released by Fox in two years or so, because mutants are not official part of the MCU yet, and it will be an R-Rated movie. But the movie will end with Deadpool (and probably the rest of X-Force) being sucked into the MCU, and next time we’ll see Deadpool will be in cameos or small roles along the MCU.

Characters like Blade I see Marvel TV getting their hands on. You don’t need a huge budget to produce Blade and almost all of their TV content leans on the mature side.

I’m not going to speculate on Deadpool too much. There was an X-Force movie planned and so knows if we will still get it.

I don’t think Blade will be taken by Marvel TV mostly because it hasn’t been done by Marvel TV, which makes me think Marvel Studios has had plans for it; it’s been reported meetings between Snipes and Feige, and we know Marvel has commissioned scripts for Blade movies.

I think Blade can be a decent and modest moneymaker in movie form, and probably Feige was waiting to have a good platform to launch it.
There are some other good characters like Ghost Rider (Marvel TV didn’t use Johnny Blaze/Danny Ketch) or maybe even Moon Knight, that I don’t think they’ll get a place in the already very packed MCU lineup/movie slate.

Some Marvel Knights/Midnight Sons supernatural R-Rated sub-universe can be done? Either under the 20CF or Marvel Studios launching a sub-brand (but I think they’ll be really busy with the X-Men, Fantastic Four stuff, and all the Disney+ series they have to do now).

Disney wants the IPs, not the brand. They’re already laying off tons of people shuttering one of the labels - Fox 2000’s last film will be The Woman in the Window in October. After this, I expect the Fox label will be mostly used for stuff you wouldn’t traditionally expect from Disney. But anything superhero based will come from under the Marvel Films banner.

Iger is already suggesting an ‘R-Rated Marvel’ banner for Deadpool.

It’s still gonna be under the Marvel Studios fold though. I doubt their gonna want to keep the Fox label around for long, especially since there’s a “Fox Corporation” that’s being put up for everything Disney isn’t buying (basically Fox Television, Fox Sports, and Fox News).

It’s said 20CF will release about 4 movies a year

There are some franchises, like Alien and Predator, that are definitely not Disney material. It’s already been rumors about an Alien TV series, BTW.

As for Avatar, Planet of the Apes, yeah, they’re going to Disney I guess.

Disney owns 20th Century Fox Television. Unless your talking about the channels.

Disney has been doing non-disney material for years.

Disney technically owns Pulp Fiction.

Yeah, but it’s highly likely nothing Marvel is gonna be released under the 20CF banner.

Yes, I was talking about the channels.

They used to, a few decades ago. Then, they changed their strategy.

They already sold that along with all of Miramax in 2010.

Anyways back to casting… Came across a young actress called Mackenzie Foy. May make a decent jean grey if they went for the young xmen again.

You started with… not the best arcs you could have started with. It’s like starting listening to the new material from Alejandro Fernandez now that’s he’s singing crapola like pop and reggeaton, and refusing to listen to his better hits back when he used to sign boleros and mariachi.
Don’t beat yourself over it, though. Some times people don’t like good things, and that’s fine.

He knows who that is. A Mexican singer.

Such a weird analogy (and yes, I do know full well who Alejandro Fernandez is).

You could have just used something more universally known like Metallica or basically any rock band that has more than 20 years of existence…
