After seeing her in Edge of Tomorrow, I really thought Emily Blunt would have been great for the role.
I’m perfectly fine with Brie Larson in the role. She looks good for it, and i dont give a flying fuck about celebrities politics so that doesn’t matter to me.
It’s not. It’s called poking fun at something. Yes I like memes so it’s fun to do this. Having said that Brie running her mouth about irrelevant social issues should be reeled in as it could hurt the movie. Then again Carol is a feminist so it fits brie well. Either way that already makes me feel meh on the character.

I dont follow all this online/social stuff as much as you guys, but my general impression is that alot of these feminists want to accomplish equality with 2 caveats
- They feel putting down men is necessary to uplift women
- They mostly care only for the plight of white women.
One incident she wrote about involved a TSA agent smiling and asking for her number.
WTF ? She could have gently shot him down or made a joke. But made it seem like he was going to assault her. It s too much.
