Fiege got plans for Kamala. He needs Captain Marvel to take off to enact those plans.
For what Iâve seen Feige said in a very interview with some Arabian media that they âdefinitely have thoughtsâ about doing something with Ms. Marvel.
And last week Brie Larson says she wants Kamala Khan in Captain Marvel 2, but thatâs just a wish, not a confirmation of any kind.
I think Ms. Marvel will have a TV show rather than feature in the movies. Brie Larson could have a cameo, now thatâs said Disney+ shows will feature MCU actors (and similar budgets).
TV and Movies are disconnected. Unless Ike and Feige patched up their differences I donât see that happening.
For âTVâ I meant the Disney+ shows. Falcon, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, are all confirmed to star in their own shows.
I think/hope they can also launch new characters/properties in those shows.
I donât think Kamala Khan can bring much to the Captain Marvel movies, theyâre very different characters, power levels and kinds of adventures; theyâve barely teamed up in the comics and I think the idea is Cap focusing in space/cosmic stuff, while Kamala itâs an Earthling.
Unless itâs a cameo showing her gain her powers (BTW I think she could be a mutant in the MCU, to streamline her origin) to introduce her to the audience, before featuring her in a spinoff.
And I want an âX-Men: Preludeâ miniseries showing the background and origins (childhood/youth) of their characters before the launch of their first movie. Thereâs only so much you can show in the movies, a âprequelâ miniseries could help us know more about the characters.
Secret Wars was good. I enjoyed seeing so many alternate universes characters together in one planet. But yeah, DC is the one who keeps doing the rebooting. New 52, Convergence, Rebirth. Like, why? I was hoping to see New 52 Constantine finish his fight with the Cold Flame, but now itâs all gone down the drain.
Where DC fucked up with the New 52 is not committing to a full reboot. Characters like Superman, Wonder Woman and the Teen Titans got completely redone while Batman and Green Lantern didnât get touched. It threw a lot of shit out of whack.
They did Rebirth as a means to flesh all the new ideas from new 52 that didnât work down the toilet while restoring some pre-flashpoint continuity and characterization. It helped some characters but completely fucked others. The Titans now got continuity as fucked as Hawkman.
batman was a partial reboot. green lantern was 100% untouched but aspects of batman was jacked up if i remember correctly. like i seem to remember stuff about tim was weird.
Things relating to Bruce didnât change much. Dick and Tim got fucked. Their histories got nuked and were left with nothing really. Dickâs time as Batman was preserved but nothing much beyond that.
Just got done watching Captain america: the winter soldier for the first time since I saw in theaters. I remember leaving the theater absolutely hating it (as I do most marvel movies tbh,) but this time around? Not bad. I still donât think itâs a good movie (again, like most marvel films. Theyâre âfunâ and can be an âexperienceâ but I donât think theyâre good movies save Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok) but it was definitely a lot better than I initially remember.
Just need mah ginger wally west
Black Panther is an extremely important movie to the culture of movies in general, but itâs nowhere near as good as people like to trumpet. Far from bad, but honestly if not for the two leads putting in fantastic performances itâs nothing special, especially with the plot requiring stupidity from pretty much everyone.
I want X-Men for phase 4, especially a X-23 movie based on her comics origins books, R rated and all. It probably wonât happen in phase 4 (if ever) so Iâll just take a good X-Men movie please. Apocalypse was a huge disappointment and Iâm not feeling Dark Phoenix so far.
X-Men and Spidey are my favorites in Marvel universe, I remember the team ups episode in Spider-Man TAS being a dream come true when I was a kid, my adult self needs movies of it now
Dumb question:
If the Cap Marvel film takes place in 1995, how is she going to be introduced in the current MCU time with Ant man , Tony etc?
Time warp?
Suspended animation?
Pretty sure she just doesnât stick around on Earth much after she takes care of the skrull issue.
But since she will be played by the same actress, is there a reason for her lack of aging in 24 years?
Kree DNA?
Maybelline makeup?
Most likely the Kree DNA thing, yeah.
Kree DNA, they used Kree blood to bring Coulson back to life.
When the X-Men makes its way to the MCU I would like for them to take a page from X-Men Evolution. Make all the major characters expect a handful students, go all in on the school aspect of Xavierâs academy.
Kree DNA + White Woman DNA explains away every little thing.
Sorry.
Kind of had to.
I dislike concave buttons.
Why would I like concave butt offs?
Kree DNA doesnât make up for a lack of squats
