Thor 1 overpriced.
Imma need Marvel to re-release some of the Steelbooks.
fuck steelbooks, i need that custom phase 1 and collectorâs 2 box sets to be re-issued (at a lower price, of course)
GOTG vol. 2 was really fun, almost as good as the first one and then some.
that adam warlock tease was good but the guardians 3000 easter egg was the best by far
boss fight with the big bad was pretty meh though, could have been better imo
Gotg 2 suffered from trying to squeeze in too much character development AND laughs at the same time. As a consequence, some moments felt forced and took me out of it. This made it weaker than GotG 1 where scenes flowed more naturally into each other and the gags often WERE the character development.
I still liked it and will definitely watch it a second time. Hoping iâll enjoy it more the second time.
That image doesnât inspire confidence. Itâs killing my hype.
That looks more like a Brazzers shoot than a movie.
Black Bolt should never ever remove his mask during the tv series.
Lol he thinks theyâre gonna wear masksâŚ
its almost like he doesnt know they hire pretty people to be pretty
Why would he need a fucking mask? Heâs the freaking king of his people. Heâs one of the most powerful individuals in the universe. He has no secret identity. Fuck the mask.
That wig is ugly as hell. I donât normally pay attention to that, but itâs just weird.
Crystal looks like a teenager.
Crystal was basically a teenager in her first appearances in the comics.
I wonder if theyâll find a way to bring QS or Ronan back for this show.
GOTG Vol. 2 was good. I liked it but I do feel in trying to flesh out the characters it may have stretched itself a bit thin. Overall, not as good as the first but definitely an enjoyable movie.
I was dying when the Zune came out. Stan Lee as a pseudo-Watched was a nice treat too. Warlock teaser was nice but I was wondering how many people got the reference in the theater.
YOU were dying?! Iâve got a lot of friends that worked on the Zune, and the girl I went with worked on the Zune. She nearly exploded.
Cut from the movie, sadly: [details=Spoiler]https://www.inverse.com/article/14763-how-nathan-fillion-plays-wonder-man-and-tony-stark-in-guardians-of-the-galaxy-2[/details]
I didnât like it nearly as much as the first one, but still pretty damned good. Also, props on [details=Spoiler]actually doing the giant planet thing pretty damned well, versus the fuck-ups that were Galactus and Parallax [/details].
I enjoyed it. I think itâs one of the better sequels that Marvel has done. Itâs a pretty well contained story while fleshing out the story beats and character from the first movie . At times I think it fell into the category of âHEY YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FEEL THIS WAY ABOUT X CHARACTERâ. Overall, worth seeing.
