Defenders starting to look like they ainât gonna be showing up in Infinity War.
Thatâs fucking dumb.
I thought half of the point of the Netflix stuff was so they can establish more usable characters without dumping resources into a bunch of blockbusters.
That said even if there are some hoops to jump through, Iâm sure theyâre not so extreme that they couldnât go through with transferring characters to theaters.
Jessica probably wouldnât do too much but I want to see DD, Punisher, IF, and Cage fuck some shit up with a big boy budget.
I think itâs more so they arenât forced to have to admit every single person in. I mean, Iron Fist is probably not coming out until 2017, which will be cutting it close to Infinity War, and they would still have to do a Defenders flick first, I am assuming.
Doesnât mean you canât have a handful of characters here and there.
As much as I like the little references to Daredevil being in the MCU, I also think he would be wildly out of place in an Avengers movie. Let them have their own little corner of the universe where darker stories can be told. I think thatâs kind of cool personally.
Yeah, honestly I never thought they had ANY intention of putting Netflix characters on the big screen. Would make no sense. They are ground level heroes. Until someone needs a lawyer absolutely none of them have much business getting involved with the big stuff.
All the more reason to keep them out of this shit. Let them handle the issues that matter that the bigger heroes are too self-absorbed to notice.

Theyâre also world renowned agents for (at least what was then) the most powerful agency in the world. Nat has far been removed on what the normal world is, and while Clint has not, his home is also far removed from most danger. They may have no powers but ground level they arenât.
Clint is ground level when solo.
Weâve never once seen him solo nor the missions he was on when solo. Since SHIELD went down he doesnât do solo anymore either (if he did to begin with).
I was actually shocked how much I enjoyed Heroes For Hire and Defenders related shit, during WWH.
Theyâve also been active for much longer. At this point, Iâd assume SHIELD has looked into the Devil of Hellâs Kitchen, especially after Kingpin got taken down by him, and Kilgrave as well (in which case they may be familiar with Jessica).
To be honest, the only thing holding them back, from my view point, is that the Defenders movie/show/crossover wonât occur in time. Weâre still waiting on Luke Cage until next year, then who Daredevil Season 2, then 2017 will be Iron Fist and maybe JJ 2 or some sort of Luke + Jessica hybrid show (Heroes For Hire?) or Defenders by end of 2017. That would JUST get them in in time for Infinity War part 1 in 2018, but youâre asking these dudes to film their entire shows/crossovers as well as a two part movie.
I think the runaway success of Daredevil may have changed their mind on a few things.

No you donât, that means you have to deal with Parker for enough movies to get Otto in his body. 
What hurts the most about no solo Hulk movies, is no She-Hulk movies. Iâd use She-Hulkâs soiled thongs to make tea, every morning.
DD is past Widow in terms of fighting skills(while they both have trained for most of their lives, he has super senses that give him a serious edge over her) and flashy acrobatics, and Cage is above her in power level. Iron Fist is above her in both regards
Theyâd be able to work with the Avengers just fine.
Which i imagine youâd still prefer more than having Parker around.
