Marvel Studios | Hide Your Eyes, Hide Your Ears

My 5 year old niece marked the fuck out at the women’s scene. So mission accomplished Marvel/Disney.

As I read these posts, I can’t help but grin at the triggered anger expressed by zatalcon1.

And the more I read, the more my smiles turn into laughter.

Don’t forget that he’s black.

That’s right. Though, I tend to imagine him as the fat kid in The Sandlot.

Zatalcon needs to fuck a hoe in cowgirl.

MCU Greatest Moments

Not in the MCU sure but this is one of the biggest complaints I’ve seen coming from the comic side. People have said that going forward the comics will be a testing ground for what they might want to push in film. And I’m inclined to think that going forward we could see more of that with Feige pulling for more diversity and for him shilling Carol despite her not being liked/known.

I wasn’t really to bothered by it but zatalcon has a point. None of those women have damn near anything to do with each other and Carol completely invalidates their mere presence. There’s never been an all male Avengers splash page or group shot ever. I can forgive it because it’s one moment in a movie that has tons of moments. I’m not gonna sperg out and scream “down with women”. But stuff like that comes off as pandering and it has literally no pay off.

Also I know this might be an unpopular opinion due to Scott being the lead of the Ant-Man movies. but I legit would have rather Hope not been dusted lmao

Boo a split second of female empowerment when the entire MCU has basically been dudes doing everything

Boo i tell you

Boooo

If those characters shared a screen with each other before hand it would be less contrived.

This is such bullshit reasoning. Thor is a literal god and invalidates all the avengers. Where’s your complain about that?

He’s an alien in the MCU.

Ya’ll doing some crazy mental gymnastics and yeah buts to invalidate something that happens in a blink of an eye.

I’m not personally bothered by the A-force moment but it is contrived. I’m not gonna disagree about it being a bad use of fanservice when someone complains about it.

Stupid mobile version of the site.

It’s not pandering and it’s not shoe horned in. They got a few seconds to claim as their own after some 22 films.

We got some people with real frail sense of masculinity to be offended by the ladies getting their due

I just want an Asian lead in an MCU film, preferably without waiting another 10 years.

I have to disagree on the whole they didn’t do it for the men argument that folk fall back on.

Summary

I mean are we really pretending Iron Man, Cap and Thor didn’t have that walk up to Thanos just minutes earlier? Or we haven’t seen similar scenes throughout super hero movies with dudes.

Shang chi is coming

I just find it funny that out of all the outlandish, stupid, ridiculous and down right impossible shit that has happened and has been forced on us in the MCU that this is what has “fans” in an uproar because it felt “forced”.

Get out of here with that bullshit. We all know it has nothing to do with it feeling “forced”.
