Marvel Studios | Hide Your Eyes, Hide Your Ears

It will be interesting. However, the issues are examples of some of the inconsistencies. Despite flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and plan to see it again in the next month and I already pre-ordered the steelbook.

Because Dormanu is a greater cosmic being, they are bound to their word.

Summary

If alternate timelines are being made, Cap shouldn’t have been in the ending sitting on a bench. He essentially left that timeline. That goes against everything they said about time travel.

Nebula shooting herself, Loki escaping, past thanos going to the future(and his fucking armies which is bullshit) and dying should’ve had ramifications visible in this movie. Not try to hash it out in things to come.

You’re equating the MCU treatment to the comic treatment. Yes, there are things borrowed, but it’s not a 1:1. The MCU is much better for it.

Summary

I look at it like an episode of Sliders. By film rules Cap went to another dimension spent the last 80ish years there and then came back. The movie did a terrible job showing that he returned instead of waiting it out.

Eskills, this is a movie series that hard fucks with and mix every movie genre together. We got a Demi God, a drunk in power armor, Noir style solder, a talking raccoon, a walking tree, a brain surgeon turned wizard, non-elvan legolas, 2 non Xmen, African Bruce Wayne, Female Superman and that one dude from the office, and you are complaining about something that isnt worth exploring into

I’ll complain bout whatever the fuck the I want. Lmao I just really hate

Exactly I definitely enjoyed the movie. Letting it cook in my mind just brings up things I ignored while watching. I’d probably rate it an 7-8.5 depending on how I’m feeling at the moment.

hahaha I defintely thought it would be a 5-6 based on how you talk about it.
But I can respect that for sure.

It’s like you dudes didn’t even read that Russo Q&A or pay attention to the movie at all. Lol

I think that’s a bit egregious

A Q&A for a movie is similar to filling in plot details with a tie-in comic book. Not saying that it can’t be done well, but 9 times out of 10 if it requires the additional material, it isn’t as solid.

Or the Q&A was shit and didn’t really answer anything.

Cap is sitting on that bench because he jumped back to the main timeline. He lived the life he wanted in a alternate timeline and came back to the main one to hand down the mantle to Sam. The Q&A verified that if you bothered to read it

Nebula shooting herself doesn’t contradict anything. When Banner was explaining how time worked, he said when you make the time jump, the present becomes the past. 2014 stopped being Nebula past the moment she left it. Nebula was aware of this as she was the only one who understood the rules when Banner explained it. The same applies to Thanos and his armies.

I am not even worried about Capt he deserves to have a good ending for once.
I wouldn’t be mad it they cheated the scene to make it work. But hearing he jumped back is the icing on the cake.

There no loose ends to tie up.

You dudes just hating by this point. The movie didn’t break any of it’s own rules if you paid attention. The Q&A just reinforces what was already there.

Summary

There only could have ever been 2 possibilities regarding old cap based on the rules of the film. He was either the same cap that came back from the past somehow. Or it was a different yet identical cap from an identical timeline that lived through the original timeline’s past. It’s a detail that isn’t important and makes sense if you simply think about it. The movie explains the rules of it’s time travel just fine. Everyone bitches about all the plotholes and paradoxes when there aren’t any. Past Nebula dying isn’t supposed to affect present Nebula. The past doesn’t affect the future. It only creates a new timeline. This was stated by both Banner and ancient one. Cap returning the stones fixed those alternate realities. It didn’t erase them, it stopped those timelines from splitting even further. Thanos and his forces dying in the present means that now there is a timeline where the events of IW and EG will never occur. Everyone can have their opinions on the movie and on the time travel rules all they want, but those rules make sense and the movie followed them just fine.

I find this funny. These guys hate time travel yet they are mad that the movie doesn’t follow the conventional rules of time travel. They trapped themselves in a paradox.

Never said I hated it. Just because flaws bug me out doesn’t mean I hate a film. https://giphy.com/gifs/week-markets-JsKiYLRzEjpyo
