Yuuuuup. Pretty much why I gave up on marvel and dc. There are certain titles and runs that have happened recently I’ve really enjoyed but as a whole I’ve given up on what’s happening in the grand scheme of things.

I liked that Wanda as a mutant and being Magneto’s daughter. Since Marvel got the X-Men back I hope she can be that again.

What? No they haven’t. They showed in the mid-credits scene of Winter Soldier that she’s a hydra experiment. As was Quicksilver.
We don’t even know what her powers really are in the MCU. They’ve been extremely vague. All we know is she can make red vapors come out or some shit and her powers are somehow on the same wave length as the Mind Stone.

Meant Dr. Strange movie she’s co-starring in. It’s supposedly going to explore her powers and chaos magic.

I actually disagree here. I think she should stay being magic based. A mutant with magic witch powers just seems so over the top. Plus I think it makes her stand out more.
So I’m not well versed in comic teams I only know a few. So what’s your guys favorite team?
Brotherhood, Nova Corps, Uncanny Avengers.

Wanda is revealed to have had her memories altered and at some point get the fixed to reveal her father as Magneto.

She is still “retconed”… but, it seems Marvel has never fully acknowledged it after (was it Axis?) because she is still written as Magneto’s daughter in games and other media.

Just to add to my previous post regarding Wanda.
So even after her comic retcon, she was still referenced as Magneto’s daughter.
In Ultimate Alliance 3 however, she isn’t referenced as his daughter (nor denied)… they have no bonuses together. However she is acknowledged as a Mutant. If anyone has played the game, her being a mutant is confirmed by Sentinel during mutant scan. I guess that can count regardless of her and Magneto not having family bonuses since her “retcon” also involved her being a mutant (they retconned her to be an inhuman).
I think, Marvel just retconned them for movie rights purposes or something, especially since this was the time they were trying to push the Inhumans in the MCU.
Different continuities goes by different rules
And No where is the Marvel Alliance material is cannon anywhere except for its own series.
And the MCU is especially different as they stated time and time again that Magic is just Science that hasn’t been explained yet. Mostly in the Thor and Dr Strange Movies.

Not in this case. Because other characters have the same matching background story as their 616 bios.
This isn’t about different universes and elements or being canon either because we know the retcon wasn’t for any canon/story telling but for just the MCU.
Heres a question for yall would you prefer old magneto aka someone like gandalf or a younger one like in the comics. If its a younger one could Scarlett still be his daughter?

Peter Quill is half celestial in the MCU and no where else.
Asgard is more of a weird alien planet than the home of the Norse Gods.
Dr Strange’s mirror realm is the same as Ant-man’s quantum realm.
Magic is just science that hasn’t been explained yet. No one has actual magic.
Also the Ultimate Alliance isnt even canon to the comics, as the comics right now contradict alot of what you try to pass as all encompassing fact. and it is not.
