Marvel Psych

If she could fly as well as airdash like IM/WM, she could be up in Sentinel’s asscrack.

Needs air super.

Stupid with Tron.

Just about everyone is stupid with Tron

Maybe I’m missing out on something…nah, couldn’t be.

Roll.

You said it best yourself:

Well, like servbot she is a exceedingly small character and can ‘avoid’ most attacks by default because of that. This may frustrate the opponent and cause them to change tactics somewhat…but yeah like you said, she is a suckier version of Megaman and brings nothing new to the table…pretty pointless character.

TK Flowers

garbage

Ruby Heart.

She was made for this game, both literally and figuratively. She controls space real well, is pretty strong in CC for a AOE character, supers aren’t bad, ok speed and has a good sweep. But what really, really hinders her is that she has horrible recovery time, needs someone who can think ahead and pay attention more than ususal and knows when and where to execute what. A great character in theory, and it seems all the players that use her just “spam” sublimination but she’s much more matience-heavy than people would believe…and her lack of good reversal and recovery time actually means she isn’t played by too many people. I’ll leave the intricacies for her specific sub-thread. As you can tell, I like the stubbborn ladies to give me a challenge

what are u suppose to press when u land the barrel super?

^I think that is random as far as the sequence of buttons from what i remember…

Ryu.

Well the whole world knows his moves, about as average as you can get.

lol a noobs fav

Relatively slow.

Dead center average.

Best character in the game.

I think you’re confused, the noobs like Ironman and Akuma, for some reason. Then they pick up those characters, spam air fireballs and proton cannons. Then they get raped because those are such lame strategies. Then they wonder why. I actually had to tell this one newb that if you want to play a shotokan and you’re starting out, the bread-and-butter Ryu is the best choice. Can’t play sloppy with Akuma at all because he dies quickly. Can’t spam Proton Cannon because even the mentally retarded see it comming miles away.

Anyway, average but solid character. The problem is later, in the more experienced levels everyone knows what he can (and cannot) do so you have to get really creative and smart, sort of like Pai in Virtua Fighter. She’s great starting out but you have to really work hard in the later levels because she’s so damn simplistic and predictable.

Sabretooth.

He used to be respectable in XM vs SF…he had a reliable jump in game, decent power and could do some good tick-throws. But now…he’s just too big a target, not fast enough, some of his supers just scream “kill me” and doesn’t have the defense to make up for it. His assists are pretty good, but I haven’t really seen any good players with him.

Oh well, I guess there’s always Tron.

Sakura.

Ah boy…let’s see here:

  • Good Priority on normals and specials
  • Good Dash
  • Decent Power
  • Takes normal damage
  • Really, Really Dangerous with Tron
  • “Dark Sakura” transformation basically makes my Gouki jealous; only caveat is the three super bar requirement and the fact it leaves her vulnerable
  • Easy to hit confirm

The problem I see is lack of a good ranged attack. I still hate this bitch though; I never could see why she was introduced in Alpha 2 when Dan was already making that game too cool for words.

if her combos did more damage she would be “gooder”
