Anyway, Morrow is obviously an underrated character, thank goodness for Preppy’s site; thought I would never see her used in a match. She’s a typical pixie but has potential. I can already see she has good zoning and escape moves, a big plus in a game like Marvel. I was thinking of picking her up, I just don’t like the character design. -_-
Seems like a scrub character at first; the scrubs like to use him to abuse FP but its actually fairly easy to get around that lame strategy. Anyway, he has good zoning and can shut down some of the god tiers if used properly. Is actually faster than Magneto if up close, good combos, can actually survive without an assist, difficult to master. At first glance, people would say his supers suck, and they were weakened from MvC to be honest but they still have uses:
Hyper Megaman - Combos, (poor anti-air), DHC, triple Hyper Combos
Rush Drill - used in combos, easily combos off charged buster, assists and leaf shield, can otg combo after you push them to the corner, also is invincible and can be used to run the clock
Beat Plane - Used for general confusion, mobility, cross-ups
It takes practice to make sure her airdashes don’t get you in trouble. When you get comfortable, they’re an easy way to IOH, coverground and manage assists (normal jump versions), assists are okay; AA is very good and projectile and balance are surprisingly easy to combo off of (they have long stun).
Supers are damaging, but two are difficult to combo into and have a long recovery time. Additionally Soul Eraser is very finicky about damage sometimes…
Doesn’t take damage well, has an unfly mode (despite not having normal flight) but its pretty useless. Finally, needs assists to rack up substantial damage.
I was surprised when he was ranked upper-low tier. Now, I know why.
He takes damage well, can steal life and meter. Is a good battery, is surprisingly fast, can zone after some practice, good tick-throw game; assists are a little technical than some but surprisingly useful; an all-around good character.
Good AA assist recovers quickly and can be comboed off of; has a good projectile that has a strange property that allows it to pass through other projectiles.
On her own, good speed, below-average defense and okay combos. Somehow though, she just isn’t a great point character. Against competent opponents she may spend more time running away than actually accomplishing anything. She has a great tri and double jump though. Her supers aren’t the best…
